Hi, any help/advice regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

 

Basically, I’m just in the process of following the RBHP tutorial because I’m looking to upgrade all my current songs.

 

I have a couple of questions though,

 

1. I don’t go on RB3 online, so I have title Update 4 permanently on, and I move all my custom songs over to my xbox harddrive, instead of having a “customs” USB stick.

 

I want to know, even with this method will RBHP upgrades still work? Will this prevent me from upgrading my songs?

 

2. If so, I have the whole Master Package currently Packaged, will they all “batch” upgrade or do they need to be done individually (e.g. if there is a problem with installing an upgrade for a song not currently owned?)

 

3. Related to (2) in that will this cause issues if I buy a song from the music store that I have an upgrade already for? Seems like a situation where problems might srise.

 

Any help is much appreciated!

 

Also, I was having some song cache issues I have recently managed to resolve, will installing RBHP upgrades cause any erasure? (and can’t you give a little re-speh-ect, too-oo-ooh-oooo meeeeee)

 

EDIT: Okay I went on and watched part two and see that I’m not the only one with customs on my hard drive, I will try and add the upgrades and if there’s no issues I can have this thread deleted ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Ok So I’ve done the upgrades and I have just tested some, they seemed to work fine, I wasn’t sure if I would need anything from the USB Stick so I went to dashboard, removed it, and restarted rockband and it fucked up (rebuilt the song cash, harmonies are gone).

 

I wasn’t sure if the data would “stick” to the songs, I guess now I should’ve gone with instinct and copied the harmonies file over to the hard drive.

 

I will retry and if anyone can advise on what I need to have on my harddrive I’d be grateful.

 

And if espher sees this I just wanna say thanks for making this it’s f***ing incredible, like seriously, I don’t even know what to say it’s such a weird bizzare and clever idea/endeavour haha
