None of my friends like playing top 40 or pop on rock band because they aren’t fun to play
I think most people who care enough about rock band to do customs want some challenge.
I really wish RB3 didn’t cut out score duels, because that was our favorite mode, and songs having one instrument would have worked fine with that

A single-instrument song is by definition a single-player song, a point that often gets lost in the shuffle. Single-player Rock Band and multiplayer Rock Band almost feel like different genres of game to me. They will share an audience to a degree, but also develop very different audiences. People on every side need to respect (not necessarily accomodate and satisfy in every way, but definitely respect) that.
Just an update… gonne be on a 2 week hiatus cause im busy with irl and boobs n shit. So gonna be back to releasing weekly songs in 2 weeks. Update on my big 20+ release im 75% done with it so… might hit in 2 weeks who knows.

As an fyi, we’re discussing this because this is kind of an edge case.
A good rule of thumb is to not author/post anything that is available in any form officially, as is the implication from the rules. If you think you’ve got a case for an exception, such as a live version of a song with a studio rendition (or vice-versa), or something like this example, you should contact an administrator for clearance/approval before posting the song.

We could argue “but we released the whole album, not just the single song”, but still that single song, or that single movement, is available for sale.

lol wth happened while i was away, and yet again some stupid shit, rules or not. If anything people would buy the parts which are full band and are playable with others online…like me i got em all, just to make it clear i dont give a s… about this discussion im not here to fight over stupid shit
