PSNPatch & .rap file

    I have followed all instructions up to installing PSNPatch, and one part is a bit vague. I do not want to overwrite my custom firmware, so I want to check in on the proper procedure —

     

    Currently I am being told by PSNPatch — NO VALID PSN ACCOUNT WAS FOUND

     

    There must be a valid psn user account to install RAPs & EDATs.

     

    So, how do I go about getting a PSN account on this system? When I attempt to “log in” to PSN, I am told I need to update my firmware, which I expect will overwrite the jailbreak I have done.

     

    Could someone who is familiar with this process please help clarify what I should do at this point?

    Don’t you think that this thread: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1678 would have been a better place for your question than creating a new thread on an Xbox-oriented forum?
