Im sure someone has seen and explored this “but on the chance that im mistaken” would one of you who has way more experience on the custom tread please investigate and respond to my post… I found this little dittie online and am praying that someone can do for the PS3 what is being done for the XBOX 360..williamreid2011@me.com
http://www.ps3news.com/PlayStation3/ark … -released/ follow this link and it explains that is may be possible to bring the PS3 up to date with the Custom Collective collection of music and boy seeing as I have over 700 songs for the RB3 plus Aerosmith, ACDC, Beatles, all Guitar hero release ever put out on the market would I love to be able to import all of them into RB3 and have a real libary to play and not have to change disc to do so… Thanks for you awesome job and all you effort you all have expended for the XBOX and Wii I am truly amazed at you skill and dedication to the RB Community

Come on, at least do some research on your own. That article is from 5.5 years ago. It tells you GH3 has a newer format that the tool couldn’t use…why would it work with RB3? It doesn’t. xorloser did a lot for the community until HMX stopped him and no further work has been done since 2009.
You’re not going to find the right kind of people here. You need to find hard core PS3 users who can figure out the process. Then come here looking for us to make our stuff available to PS3 users…but being Xbox users the vast majority of us, we have no incentive nor the means with which to do the hard part, which is figuring out whether it’s possible and how to do it.
PS3 versions were explored but there’s not much we can do. Hacked PS3s are rare and it never really seemed like it was worth the time to study a system maybe nobody will ever use… Sorry.
