So, i was making a drum chart for a song on RB3, and I was finished with making it via Moonscraper. So I export the chart as a midi, run it through Onyx to turn it into an rb3con, & pop it into my usb drive. But when i put it in my Xbox 360, turn on the game, and scroll down to the song, it tells me that there’s no drum part for the song. WTF?!

June 30, 2019 at 3:22 am #505797BornGamerRob, What I’m modifying is not Official DLC. It’s my own Modification of MasonSparkles Africa chart, which was originally made for Clone Hero.
This song/chart is not made by Harmonix, hence it is not Official DLC.
June 30, 2019 at 3:45 am #505798No one can help with this issue because the song in question is official Rock Band DLC. It doesn’t matter where the files came from. You can’t discuss it here because of the rules.
June 30, 2019 at 9:07 am #505801You can’t share official content, either in its official form or your own version, but in this case he is not sharing it, he’s asking questions about his own copy. In the future, simply be smarter and not mention the nature of the song if it’s not needed for the issue you need to fix anyway
June 30, 2019 at 3:30 pm #505803Oh. Didn’t realize you could share links to other games even though it’s an official Rock Band DLC song. I guess as long as it’s not Rock Band 3 is what I’m assuming? The line is hard to find around here sometimes, but good to know for future reference and link posting.
June 30, 2019 at 3:46 pm #505804I’m so confused right now.

So you’re suggesting I edit my original post to not mention the song?
June 30, 2019 at 4:19 pm #505806So you’re suggesting I edit my original post to not mention the song?
Yes. That’s what my original post was suggesting as well.
June 30, 2019 at 8:07 pm #505807Ok then, so I did this, and I’m now able to continue to discuss the issue?
June 30, 2019 at 8:10 pm #505808Did you make a previous version of this chart, and are now updating it with drums? If so, you’ll need to change both the internal song name and the song ID. RB3 stores the metadata for its songs in the cache, and it checks for new internal song names and song IDs when scanning for songs. If you don’t change these values, the game will think that the metadata hasn’t actually changed.
June 30, 2019 at 10:11 pm #505810No, I’m modifying a chart that someone else made, it originally only had guitar, so I added drums.
June 30, 2019 at 10:12 pm #505811Also, how would I change the internal song name & ID? What program would I use?

June 30, 2019 at 11:55 pm #505815I apologize, for some reasons I didn’t see there was a link posted, my bad, I only read the first post probably. Yes, please do not post links to alternate versions of officially available songs
