November 1, 2013 at 8:25 pm #408769cool, do you know if he has any new charts in progress?Last time I spoke to him about new songs he seemed pretty interested in doing Dont Speak and Spiderwebs from No Doubt. Also Breaking the Law from Judas Priest. Dont really know the status of them charts. I’ll ask him again next time we play.

November 8, 2013 at 8:06 am #409003Just wondering how do i get these to work? I just add to my existing dlc or do they need converting into a certain format?
November 8, 2013 at 10:30 am #409006Just wondering how do i get these to work? I just add to my existing dlc or do they need converting into a certain format?Yes, just add them to your existing official DLC. They act just like official upgrades released by Harmonix. Of course they wont work unless you purchased the corresponding song for the upgrade.
November 8, 2013 at 8:39 pm #409036Yeah, i started a new song but am currently distracted by RockSmith 2014
November 29, 2013 at 9:18 am #409964New Pro Guitar upgrade for the pickins. This is for the KISS song “Calling Dr. Love”. This song is a little bit different than most upgrades. There are two different guitar charts on this song. Rhythm guitar is charted on the Pro Bass slot and lead guitar is charted on the Pro Guitar slot. Enjoy!

December 12, 2013 at 10:42 pm #410600Tonight, I’ve been pro-bundling with LeFluffie a lot of songs with their pro-upgrades I found on the google doc mentioned on the first page of this topic.
For the vast majority of them, the pro-bundling went fine but here are the songs which had LeFluffie crash:
Smashing Pumpkins – Cheruck Rock (RB1)
Radiohead – Creep (RB1)
The Acro-Brats – Day Late Dollar Short (RB1)
Fall Our Boy – Dead on Arrival (RB1)
AC/DC – Highway to Hell (ACDC R:cool:
Metallica – Enter Sandman (RB1 unexported songs found on a topic of C3 forum)
Ramones – Blitzkrieg Bop (RB1)
AC/DC – Whole Lotta Rosie (ACDC R:cool:
AC/DC – You Shook Me All Night Long (ACDC R:cool:
Blink-182 – The Rock Show
Except the last one, all these songs have a common point: when sent to Visualizer, a warning appears telling that lower difficulties are not found and asking if showing those songs as “Expert Only” would be ok. So I guess that the pro-bundling fail comes from the fact that lower difficulties are not found and so can’t be “associated” with a pro upgrade. For “The Rock Show”, I don’t know why it crashed (did not read the error message).
Anyway, has someone played successfully those upgrades yet? Or is the problem coming from RB1 era old files which are far from being up-to-date with what LeFluffie expects? Maybe a report I should have written in LeFluffie’s thread but well, maybe some other feedback could come from here.
Thank you a lot for that bunch of upgrades anyway. I’m upgrading my files right now and will soon start trying pro G/B modes. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Considering those are official songs, that shouldn’t be happening.

That’s not something that should be happening either, as the Pro Bundler doesn’t look at that.

Le Fluffie does expect RB1 era files, but if there’s something weird about those in their formatting it may be throwing it off.
Put the problem pro upgrades in one zip/rar file and send them my way. I have all the original DLC so I can test on my end and see what’s up.
EDIT: Started by looking at the RB1 files, and Visualizer isn’t telling you it’s Expert Only, it’s saying it can’t find the MIDI file to check whether it’s Expert Only, which in turn is exactly why Pro Bundler fails, since it needs to combine the old MIDI file and new MIDI file, which it can’t find. I’ll take a look at why. May be the same thing that “fixed” the problem with the dePACKaging option ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />

December 13, 2013 at 3:16 pm #410627Probably won’t since I think I already fixed
Problem was with the format that those old MIDI files was in. Some adjustments to the code now lets me read them. Still, send me the pro upgrades so I can test that part before releasing the update.
