We recently moved into a new house. It has some amazing 110 year old trees that we fell in love with. It is very important to us to keep them in good condition, if they are. How can we safely and accurately survey them?

If they have survived to this age, they are a real treasure. For accurate research it is best to get a certified arborist report, I have turned to Evans West Valley Spray in such situations. They use precise instruments such as a sonic tomograph or resistograph. These procedures are safe for trees, so you don’t have to worry about that. If you’re interested in the process itself, you can read more about sonic tomography and resistograph testing.
