so i currently don’t own any last-gen consoles and the only way i have to play customs (for now) is Phase Shift. i want to start releasing customs after the final C3 release, and i was wondering: would a successful playtest on PS indicate that a song is good to go on consoles as well? i assume so, but i just want to make sure, as i’ve had some weird mistakes pop up before when converting from RPP -> CON -> PS. i really don’t want to end up putting out a bunch of fully-featured but somehow utterly broken customs.

For the instruments that PS supports, it’s probably good enough, couple with some kind soul willing to give it a spin to make sure it loads. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”> It’s not an ideal solution but if you can’t have access to an Xbox 360 there’s not a lot more you can do (maybe try Dolphin?)

i think i’ll stick to just testing on PS for now, although i do plan on picking up a 360 at some point in the nearish future. thanks for the info.

although i’m curious, since you mentioned Dolphin – are customs particularly popular among Wii players anyway? relative to PS3 and PhS, that is.

I think they’re far more popular on Wii than on PS3, yes.

For every instrument I’m fairly sure it should work just fine in both Phase Shift and RB3, but you won’t be able to exactly test vocals other than their “positioning”; if you do unpitched then I guess it’s fine.

And yeah I guess they’re more popular on Wii for the sole reason that it’s much easier to get homebrew running there than in a PS3
