I seem to be having issues trying to load new customs to my flash drive. I have been using this flash drive (32gb) for months and it worked fine until recently.
Whenever I open up Party Buffalo to load new songs, it does one of two things: 1) It will either act like the song has loaded properly, but when I close it down and hook it up to my Xbox, the song is not there… When I load Party Buffalo back up, the song is not there either. 2) Party Buffalo will pop up with an error message that says something about having a memory issue, despite the fact that I only have about 250 songs on a 32gb flash drive.
I have already tried deleting everything off the USB and reformatting it on the Xbox, but that did not work. I also used to have more than 256 songs on the flash drive, but even when I deleted some songs to get below the magical 256 number, the problem persisted.
I didn’t know if anybody else had had this problem before, if they figured it out if it was a problem with the flash drive or if it was possibly a problem with Party Buffalo. Are there other programs out there that provide the same function as Party Buffalo?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I had an issue similar to this recently, and I think it ended up that I was trying to drop the songs in the wrong spot. i suggest either putting the songs directly to your hard drive, or, if you can’t bear to give up online/are paranoid, use a 2nd USB to transfer songs to a primary USB that never leaves the xbox or at least doesn’t risk party buffalo getting weird on it.

March 1, 2014 at 12:48 am #414881I tried using Horizon, and it worked…but it didn’t. Some of the songs did transfer over and worked in Rock Band, but others did not. One of those songs was Baby Blue by Badfinger. When I went into my flash drive on my Xbox, it showed that the song was there but it did not show up on my song list when I fired up RB. I also scrolled through my songs and noticed that a lot of them were corrupted. I deleted all of the corrupted files, along with Baby Blue. I then downloaded Baby Blue again through your website, put it on my flash drive using Horizon, and hooked it back up to my Xbox. It again showed up on my Xbox storage, but not when I turned on Rock Band.
Any other suggestions?
March 10, 2014 at 6:42 pm #415356ok dumb question but are you putting Title Update #4 on the same thumb drive, and are you absolutely sure that Title Update #5 isn’t in your cache? Another one to check, does the rock band 3 disc have a madcatz logo on it?
Keeping the content Canadian since 2017!

edit: looks like reformatting the drive fixed it, I’ll just have to keep in mind not to delete songs off party buffalo anymore.
