This is giving me such a headache. I am currently working on a song, and I made an earlier version with the vocals and it went through Magma just fine. But now when I go to make another version with added harmonies, it gives me this error. (PART VOCALS): Vocal notes exist, but no vocal phrases found. It just tells me on Part Vocals is the problem, but I still have the same Phrase Markers as the last time, and I don’t know what’s wrong. I went in event list on the Part Vocals midi, and the phrase markers are labeled as “Note”, same as my other songs. I would really love some help on this. Thanks.

Are the harmony tracks correctly named? If so, I can’t help you right now but if nobody solves the issue in the next few hours if you post your Reaper project I can take a look at it tomorrow.

It’s labeled PART VOCALS and I made sure it’s a track name, and I’m still getting the error. I’ll wait to see if anyone else has suggestions before I post the RPP. Thanks though.

I get this stupid error all the time. I usually just remove the first vocal lyric and add it again and that fixes it. Or something I just export the MIDI file without changing anything and it ends up being fine. Magma is very finicky.

I tried that and no luck thanks though. I’ve sent the file to Farottone in a PM to see if he can take a crack at it.

drummerrockband, i know someone who had a similar issue in magma…make sure none of the vocal charts are muted in reaper, if so then UNMUTE them because that’s what is most likely causing the issue. hope i helped

^I can second this, as I’m the person he is talking about. You’d think REAPER would automatically unmute midi’s on a midi export, but apparently not <.<
