Even though I’m really busy with The Beatles songs, I want to do Over The Hills And Far Away if nobody else plans on doing it yet.

Hey guys! First of all, I want to thank you for keeping refreshing, exciting upgrades to this game. I tried myself to chart some songs -reading tutorials and watching videos- but find it way too difficult. It was sort of frustating. I thought that maybe I’d rather contribute to the terrific work you’re doing by providing high quality tracks if you’d like.

You’ll see, I’m sort of an audiophile soul and got hundreds of classic albums in several formats -SACD, 5.1, MFSL, Vinyl rips, etc. I’m writing you in this forum because I’m particularly fond of some the artists you’re charting (like Pink Floyd and King Crimson) and well as others I haven’t happen to see yet -Genesis (Gabriel-era) or Roxy Music.

I see that last weeks you’ve been doing charts for two of my top albums (In the court of the C.K. and Red). I can provide you multitracks for them -this way it’d also be easier in case someone is willing to do other instruments parts- in WAV or whatever format you’d prefer. What do you say?

BearzUnlimited already requested me channel-split tracks from KC’s ITCOTCK DVD-A. They’re in WAV -compressed in RARs- and I’m uploading one by one to a Dropbox account. I don’t know if I should share the folder link right here or by only PM (maybe this would be more appropiate). Anycase, I want to let you all know in order to be in touch with him for any inquiry.

After that, I’m planning to do the same with PF’s DSOTM -probably in 1-2 days. Does anybody know how to convert/merge several WAVs into MOGG?

Wait. Multitrack multichannel. Multitrack means that each instrument has its own track. Multichannel means that instruments are spread out through the 5.1 channel mix, with bleeding, duplication, etc. In other words, multitrack is usable for authoring, multichannel is not. First make sure that what you have actually is an instrument-separated mix (which honestly would surprise me A LOT).

I’m fairly certain it’s not the good option of the two, as per the quote. We already have Dark Side of the Moon’s useless 5.1 audio, and well, it’s useless. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

Yes, it’s called Magma or the much cooler, Magma: C3 Roks Edition. There is no other way to properly create a MOGG file.
