December 17, 2015 at 9:55 am #460863Thanks for these audio sources! I grabbed “Unbeatable” and “The End Begins” for future chart work!!!!!!
December 26, 2015 at 1:43 am #461223Just a minor Christmas update. I added the long sought after, by Belinda Carlisle fans, studio version of In My Wildest Dreams for charters. I removed the tape hiss and did some minor EQ on it to make it sound a little better.

No Problem!
I’ve decided to start offering songs with updated audio as playable versions in Phase Shift, at least for the completed games. If they prove popular enough I might start making singular links available in a format similar to bluzer. For now though, I’ve decided to simply stick with .dlc containers to keep the hassle to a minimum. These songs are ready to play in Phase Shift, just needing extraction to the proper folders. I figured Warriors of Rock was a good start. You can find the download for the .dlc in the 2nd post near the career files.
December 28, 2015 at 4:23 pm #461292Another small holiday update..
After a long time of working on them, I’ve decided to release my Ninja Turtles Coming Out of Their Shells album. I spent over a year trying to restore the 26 year old pizza hut cassette tape to some semblance of sounding good. I was hoping to chart these some day and bring them into RB3, but maybe someone else will pick them up. Either way, enjoy the tracks.
New tracks
GH3
Avenged Sevenfold – Almost Easy
Metallica – Suicide & Redemption J.H.
Trust – Antisocial
Motorhead – (We Are) The Road Crew
Steve Ouimette – We Three Kings
GHWT
Blink-182 – What’s My Age Again?
January 5, 2016 at 6:26 am #461624Guitar Hero On Tour Decades is now finished, and has every song uploaded. Some of the songs are a bit out of sync, due to my bumbling around in audacity, but everything is there.
I’ll be posting the individual links soon, but for now, you can download them via the .DLC file I’ve put a link to in the 2nd post. If you aren’t sure how to use these, just google search for jdownloader2 with no ads.
I’ve added DLC files for the following games for those who want to mass download the stems without having to click every single song.
DLC Files added:
Guitar Hero
Guitar Hero 2
Guitar Hero 2 DLC
Guitar Hero 3
Guitar Hero Rocks the 80s
Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock
Guitar Hero On Tour
Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades
January 6, 2016 at 8:19 pm #461703Just a small update.
Thanks to Bluzer, I’ve been able to get a hold of the on disc Rock Revolution stems in all their horrible cover glory.
I’ll be releasing them slowly alongside everything else, but I figured I’d start off with Skid Row – Youth Gone Wild.
January 7, 2016 at 4:49 am #461727Heck, I still have that Rock Revolution game disc gathering dust somewhere… ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
On my shortlist from that game would be:
Heart – “Magic Man”
Cream – “White Room”
Surprising that neither has been released as a custom already!
January 18, 2016 at 10:26 pm #462271I’ve started up a little something over on the FoF forums that might be of interest to fans of the older Guitar Hero games. I know it wouldn’t be cool to post any of it here, so I’ll just leave it as a link instead. I’ll be keeping it seperate from this project, so if you want updates, you’ll have to check it there.

January 20, 2016 at 5:40 am #462325Niiiiice! Thanks so much for slotting my RR requests! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
January 22, 2016 at 10:38 pm #462419A followup on this…
I’ve started playing with “White Room” and “Magic Man”, and the stem levels are REALLY quiet (I’m talking below -12dB range). While it’s no trouble at all to make them louder, the process represents a loss of fidelity and possibility of increased noise.
If this is how they came out of the rip, then please disregard, but if this attenuation was accidentally introduced in the mastering process then I wanted you to be aware of it.
(And thanks again!)
EDIT: On closer inspection, it’s even lower: peaking around -21dB on bass/rhythm parts
January 28, 2016 at 10:25 pm #462709Hey I’d love a copy of that audio. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I’m surprised someone finally got around to doing anything with it actually. lol
Now if only someone could make a custom of it. *cough*
I’ve fixed all the links in the 2nd post to stop them from loading the forum home page. Other than that, nothing new atm. Its a race between syncing/mastering more On Tour Tracks, and getting the rest of the on-disc songs of Warriors of Rock done for bluzer.
I should have mentioned that it is a rough cut, but it is synched-up to where it sounds good (though you can hear the lead vocalist go off pitch here and there). About the only reason why I downloaded it is because I love The Buzzcocks.
A custom chart? I’m currently working on many of them; I may eventually try my hand at this one as well. Right now, my computer is acting like a retard (that and I just got out of jail where I had spent the last 102 days – don’t ask – it is all bullshit).

Mmm, that would be my aggressive attenuation level tweaking before the doing any mastering. Like you said that could introduce that noise. After dealing with the extremely loud early guitar hero stems, I got it into my head that such loud source stems needed greatly reduced volume before any editing. I’ll try working with a -10 or -15 db base instead of -25 db on future RR songs. That should reduce the noise introduction hopefully.

If anything comes of the custom let me know, I’d love to try it out. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> And jail.. x_x;
