I was listening to U2’s “Boy” on the treadmill this morning and was struck by how awesome “Twilight” would be in Rock Band. Not to mention “I Will Follow”, plus several others.

We have newer U2, so here’s a plug for some of their older stuff which has a distinctive sound.

I Will Follow is a song I would totally get behind.

That pun may or may not have been on purpose.

When I think of “newer” U2 I think of songs like: Vertigo, Even Better Than Real Thing, Mysterious Ways…etc…

We don’t have any of that. The only newer song we have is, One. I wouldn’t call New Years Day or any of the songs from Rattle and Hum or earlier “newer” U2.

Speaking of which, I would love Desire and Angel of Harlem from Rattle and Hum.

I Would like to see more U2 but more 90’s songs at the moment. like Even Better Than The Real Thing, Numb, Last Night On Earth, Gone, Mysterious Ways, The Fly & Until The End Of The World :shobon:

Until the end of the world.

That’s the one I really want. By far my personal favourite U2 song.

What about “40” as the live version and “new year’s day”? I would die for playing these ones.

        +1 for “I will follow”.

        EDIT:

Oh, sorry I’ve just seen there is allready a custom of new years day – excellent!

Just throwing it out there….Achtung Baby album pack? Not exactly “old U2”, but the album is already 23 years old….damn that makes me feel really old!
