Now that the Creators site is behind a VPN, getting at the official RBN authoring docs is a bit of a pain. To address that, we’ve created a full mirror of all official RBN docs, which you can find right here:

      http://http://docs.c3universe.com/rbndocs

We may look into modifying or adding to these docs for the needs of the customs community, but for now it’s a 1-to-1 copy of the official docs. Happy authoring!

May I participate in editing, or do we suggest what should be changed?

This is a mirror of the official docs, it’s supposed to be a fixed reference. The tutorial we’re preparing will have a different interpretation of some processes, so for that feel free to suggest what you think is worth changing.

Let’s just say that vocals lip sync is more open than ever.

No more need for phrases or play animation flags, just let them run their mouths off until we give them a tambourine.

If there’s enough interest, I could have a read-only copy of the docs and an editable copy of the docs that we heavily modify to be customs-specific. I’ve made a lot of contributions to the existing docs, so if we got any edits that were really useful for all authoring (not just customs), I could port them over to the official docs and then update our copy here.

I too have learned a lot outside what is written in the official Docs, and would be happy to contribute to them.

I have been granted permission to add stuff to the docs, so I will do that whenever I see something I don’t think is explained all that well or lack information. If any of you have any suggestions of articles in the docs that needs improving, let me know and I will check it out

The drums mixes portion is stupidly overcomplicated, even more so when it comes to disco flip. Anything you can do to simplify that for new users is great. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

It’ll be clearer still if you show the drum notes that are flipped in the same picture. It isn’t quite clear that you must also flip the MIDI notes.

I have been reading and translating the docs. I was creating my venue, I know how to add the text evens of venue track. Is there any information of what do each text even?

For example, what text even do I use if I want the camera focuses in the hi hat? Or to watch the strings of the guitar? I don’t want to use one by one and play the game to see the animations.

I know the site was just put back online, but the RBN docs can’t be accessed.

(EDIT: The problem has been resolved. You can delete this.)

You may want to update the link to match the one in the authoring tools post since this one seems to be down now.
