February 7, 2016 at 6:43 pm #463214Anything that we add to the database not on Saturdays is stuff that’s already been done, and we haven’t updated them in any way. It’s stuff we’re just now putting into the database.

February 8, 2016 at 9:57 pm #463277Hey there Rockers,
Happy Monday! Monday is known for 3 things: football, wrestling and hints for next week. Next Saturday is the day before Valentine’s Day, so songs this week have a loose theme, Love. Be it good or bad love, some of the greatest songs in history were inspired by it. This is what we were inspired to do for the occasion.
Hint for song #1 – To start things off, we have something from one of my favorite Hard Rock/Hair Metal albums. This band recorded the album, got an American record deal, remixed album along with new Guitar & Bass players and started a string of successful albums in the US. This ballad-y track is amongst my favorites from this returning-to-the-Funhouse band.
Hint for song #2 – Our next artist has been the lead vocalist for 2 incredible bands and has had a good solo career mixed in. This track is from a 2015 solo album. It was probably my favorite song from all of last year. I am so happy to release this track that has been stuck in my head for quite a while.
Hint for song #3 – This next song is a well-known track that hit # 1 in many countries including US, UK and Canada. This platinum-selling song’s music video was quite popular and played a lot. The thing that struck me about the video is that it appears to end in a suicide.
Hint for song #4 – Our next song was originally recorded by a Motown group. This band’s version is a slower, haunting psychedelic rock track as opposed to the Motown group’s faster, more upbeat version. The song was recorded in a single take and became the band’s first single.
Hint for song #5 – This song is from the 4th album by a Canadian pop-punk band. This band has been featured many times on the Van’s Warped tour. This track was played at live shows prior to the album’s release, causing speculation it would be the first single… it wasn’t.
Hint for song #6 -To finish off our offerings for this release, we have a thrash metal masterpiece. The song appeared on this band’s final album with the bass player/main lyricist before he joined one of the biggest bands on the planet.
Thank you for all the kindness and birthday wishes. Seeing you peeps so happy made for a great birthday. Big thanks to Sygenysis and Dash for helping make it very special indeed. We hope you have a good week. See ya Saturday!
