Is the just got paid the same song from GHTV?
No, the song from GH Live is “I Gotsta Get Paid”.
January 3, 2016 at 1:05 am #461526I’m honored to make the Hall of Fame, but I have to confess that “Stages” was more wishful thinking than deductive reasoning ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_happy.png” />
I’m just glad you guys like that song too!
THANKS!!!!
January 3, 2016 at 1:27 am #461527Excellent week guys!
Thanks once again!
January 3, 2016 at 12:57 pm #461545Thank you everyone for all the kindness. There are a lot of great ZZ Top songs. These are six great ones. They are all quite fun to play, Like I said in the post, we hope this will inspire other authors to do their favorite ZZ Top songs. This could have been a 12 pack and some good ones wouldn’t have made it. Thank you so much for all your rockin’ support. We will return soon with more good stuff. We are open to collaboration on pitched vox, if anybody is interested, as always.
Keep on livin’ the dream! Rock on !!!
January 4, 2016 at 12:32 pm #461589I just have to say that these ZZ-Top songs are the most fun I’ve had playing a plastic guitar in years. There’s just something about Billy Gibbons’ solos that makes “playing” them feel better than anything else.
January 5, 2016 at 9:09 pm #461646Hey there Rockers,
Yesterday was a super busy day at the Funhouse, so hints are here today instead. Sorry for the being-a-day-late thing, but unfortunately, it was unavoidable. Anyway, we have some really cool stuff this week. In fact, the most inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in one week ever! Here are your clues…
Hint for Song #1 – Our first track this week is the first track this legendary band ever recorded. The song didn’t actually make it on their first album. It was release on their second album and was the b-side to a song that is official Harmonix DLC.
Hint for Song #2 – This song is by a supergroup featuring legendary performers and songwriters. You don’t get more super than this group. In fact, only one member isn’t in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The song is the second single by the group.
Hint for Song #3 – This next song won a Grammy award. It is a collaboration between two of the greatest songwriter/performers in recorded history. It features great lyrics and multiple guitar solos. This song was on the final studio album of one of the artists, before passing away after his battle with cancer.
Hint for Song #4 – This power metal band, from the midwestern United States, has toured with bands like Trivium, Bullet for My Valentine and The Sword. This is the opening track to the band’s debut full length album.
Hint for Song #5 – Next up, we have a power metal/progressive metal band that was actually one of pioneering bands in this genre. The band is actually named after a rose hybrid. This track is from their debut album.
Hint for Song #6 – Our final track this week is from a power metal act that started as a guitarist’s demo and became a band three years later. The song is the opening track to the band’s seventh studio album.
Best of luck everyone. Check back Saturday and get the tracks.

Traveling Wilburys – End of the Line
January 5, 2016 at 9:33 pm #461650I knew that was going to happen.
I think towelie is right because Jeff Lynne is not in the hall of fame.
January 5, 2016 at 10:27 pm #461652Hint #4: Leaving All Behind by Cellador
January 5, 2016 at 10:31 pm #461653Yep, Towelie’s got it. I’d bet money on “End of the Line” too.
For song #3 I’m going to guess “Disorder in the House” by Warren Zevon featuring Bruce Springsteen.
January 5, 2016 at 10:40 pm #461654#5 is going to be a crimson Glory song…how about Valhalla?
January 6, 2016 at 5:09 am #461665#5 is going to be a crimson Glory song…how about Valhalla?
I think Heart of Steel or Mayday, probably.
Any of those would be great

I am so excited for CG. I’m going to guess:
Crimson Glory – Dragon Lady
January 6, 2016 at 7:10 pm #461701End of the Line is one of my all time favourite ‘feel good’ songs and I really hope that’s what #2 ends up being. Can’t wait!

Release Notes
This week my picks made up a Packed With Legends pack. Only two of the artists in this pack are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Both Warren Zevon and Jeff Lynne will make it some day soon. In fact their omission is a travesty! But let’s avoid my rant on that and get back on track.
The Doors – Moonlight Drive is a great Doors song with a cool bottle-slide guitar part. I’m very pleased to add The Doors to our roster of bands. This track may not be one of the most well-known, but it certainly is a good one!
Traveling Wilburys – End of The Line is a great feel-good song featuring the best supergroup line-up ever. George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne… now that is an all star band!!! I hope all of you enjoy this great track.
Warren Zevon – Disorder in the House (feat. Bruce Springsteen) is the final track of this pack. It is no secret, I love Warren Zevon! He is an inspiration to me. Add “The Boss” and you get a sense of collaborative genius. This Grammy award winning track has excellent lyrics and three bad-ass Bruce Springsteen guitar solos. Trust me, this track is very cool.
Also I would like to thank the Godfather of Customs for adding pitched vocals for the classic track Lawyers, Guns and Money!
It is a great feeling to have someone we admire so much be a part of our thread. Farottone you rock!!!!
