Hey there Rockers,
It is Monday and we return with hints for this week’s release. We have a really cool release set for Saturday. I have a few clues as to what they are. Let’s see how you do this week.
Hint for song #1 – Our first offering this week is from a hugely popular band. They are in the both the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Oddly enough this track is actually a cover song. I had no idea until I was doing the hints.
Hint for song #2 – Next up, we have a track from another very popular band. The song is the third and highest charting single from the band’s return album. They had not put out an album in over four years. It became their second biggest selling studio album. The first was one of the biggest albums ever.
Hint for song #3 – This next song’s lyrics are made up entirely of lines of dialog from a super-popular, long-running TV show. This group is one of my favorites. This band has seen customs but, this will be our first by the band.
Hint for song #4 – Next, a punk band that was featured on disc for a RB title. The song this week, was featured in a skateboard video game. Both the one on disc and this week’s song appeared on their fourth studio album.
Hint for song #5 – Our fifth track this week is the title track from our next band’s debut album. The song may be recognized by people that watch British TV, as it is the theme to a popular drama. It was also featured in the film Superbad.
Hint for song #6 – Our final track this week is from a ultra cool nu metal/funk metal band. The song is from the only album with their original singer. The song is a definitely a mature rated song… even the title is racy!
Check back Saturday for the new songs! We at the Funhouse hope you all have a safe and happy holiday. Be kind to one another and show those you love how much you care. See ya Saturday!
Remember to Rock Out… Life is Short

The gap was well over four years for this album, but… “We’re Ready” by Boston?
Eh, scratch that, the highest-charting single from that album was the first, not the third.
Hint for song #4 – Next, a punk band that was featured on disc for a RB title. The song this week, was featured in a skateboard video game. Both the one on disc and this week’s song appeared on their fourth studio album.
The song was on a re-release of the band’s fourth album, not the original release, but I’ll still go with “Rock and Roll High School” by the Ramones.
Eh, scratch that one too. I have a short memory about DLC. Okay, I got nuthin’!
3. Ralph Wiggum- Bloodhound Gang ?!
4. Five Lessons Learned- Swingin Utters
#6 has got to be something by Snot. Get Some, maybe?
5. Echoes- The Rapture
6. My Balls- Snot
4. Five Lessons Learned- Swingin Utters
Thanks for reminding me where I had heard Swingin Utters before.
1. Good Lovin- The (Young) Rascals

Fleetwood Mac – Little Lies
Fleetwood Mac – Little Lies
Wow…good guess. Clue fits.
1. Good Lovin- The (Young) Rascals
Would love it if true, but the Young Rascals are hardly a “hugely popular band”.
