The Sword is definitely one of my favorite bands of all time, so we’re finally getting around to some of their stuff. Fire Lances was the only single off of Gods of the Earth, even with some amazing tracks off of it, particularly the ones in the Guitar Hero games. Regardless, Fire Lances is great, and very heavy compared to a lot of The Sword’s stuff.

 

We got Over the Top from RBN, but Out of Control should’ve been the track picked up, I think. It has some amazing instrumental parts, especially the unlimited drum fills in the verses and the crazy guitar solos. It’s very challenging on every instrument, but is awesome to play and listen to.

 

Smokin’ in the Boys Room is another song I’ve wanted us to do for a while, and is also another instrumentally interesting song. It’s not crazy challenging, but the guitar and keys solos in particular are very fun to play, while drums aren’t bad, themselves.

 

Some very fun stuff this week, I loved all of Nunchuck’s picks, as well. We’re very satisfied with this week’s output, and we hope you will be too!

Thanks for the new songs!
I’m looking forward to playing them. The download link doesn’t work for me either, nor does the new one with the copy paste instruction.
It seems to be a thing in the database: C3 customs link right away but other customs by other authors I tested don’t (at the moment at least).
