You know…had I known that it would only take a 20 second MS Paint picture to get somebody to spend their time to add PV to songs that are missing it, I’d have created it a couple of weeks ago!!! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

Now do it again so we can get Pro Keys!
Thanks for the assist, Dash. I would seriously be downloading more of these guys’ songs if they had pitched vocals.
July 4, 2015 at 10:13 pm #449556Excellent releases! And three of them fit nicely with the 80’s theme
July 5, 2015 at 2:37 pm #449589Thanks Dash for the vocals, Sister Golden Hair is one of those songs that puts a smile on your face as you are playing. It is fun on all instruments.
July 6, 2015 at 10:11 pm #449691Happy Monday Rockers,
It is a special one today for me because it is the wife’s birthday. So I’ll make this brief, we have some crucial partying to do. So let’s see how smart you are this week.
Hint for song # 1 – When this grunge band’s drummer brought a gun to band practice, he tried to explain to the singer, who is very against guns, that he was from Texas were guns are a common thing. The singer wrote this song’s lyrics after that conversation.
Hint for song # 2 – This awesome track was in 2 different movies, one from the 80’s and one from the 2000’s. This track is from a live performance of the first time the band played this song in Minneapolis (it’s not Prince), before the appearance in the first of the two movies. When you wonder why live? The answer is it fits RB much better and sounds great. You’ll see.
Hint for song # 3 – My wife’s birthday is today July 6th, so this is an awesome female sung modern hard rock track, she picked to get for her birthday. This artful 2015 track is a portrait of hard rock snarl and attitude.
Hint for song # 4 – This Big 4 thrash outfit tried out a new producer for the album this track came from. The track also appeared in a Gerard Butler oddly modernized version of a famous gothic horror flick.
Hint for song # 5 – This pop-rock megastar artist brings us a heartfelt instrumental this week. It comes from a platinum selling concept album. This album was dedicated to his father that had passed away.
Hint for song # 6 – Next we have a track from a French death metal band’s second full length album. The band’s name is shared with a fantasy fiction demon, so this track’s title is very fitting.
Check back Saturday and see how well you all did and get some more awesome tracks.
Remember to Rock Out… Life is Short
