Hope your clue is portending more full band Meat Loaf in the future.
I hope so, too, and I hope Bat Out of Hell will be in there somewhere. I want that song really bad. Someone has it but it’s just drums, I believe.
A song from Megadeths first album!
Great stuff yet again this week. Thanks so much, you’ve brought great diversity– I never thought I would see Fishbone or Mother Love Bone in Rock Band.
P. S. I fully endorse the idea of more Prince in Rock Band– anything off Purple Rain would be a good place to start– loved Raspberry Beret.
Thank you for all these songs! My band will especially love playing Runnin’ On Empty; we will dedicate it to your pop.
All we need is George and we have all the solo Beatles represented, ja? Or have I missed a song somewhere?
Great stuff – especially the Ringo and Jackson Browne. As mentioned above, some solo Harrison sure would round things out nicely…
Thanks for another great week of songs!
On the Dark Side is such a great tune!
Truly awesome selection this week!!!
“Running on Empty” is one of those classics that was sorely missed – Thanks!!!!
Eddie and the FUCKING Cruisers! I gotta listen to it now!
Another great week as always, guys! A little something for everyone. Nice job. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Awesome job, as always! Really loved Ringo and Jackson Browne this week. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
*crowd chants* Eddie!!! Eddie!!! Eddie!!! Eddie!!!
Nice week guys.
Happy Monday Rockers,
I hope your day hasn’t been too much of a drag. It is time for hints once again. We look forward to Saturday’s July 4th release. Let’s see how you all fare this week.
Hints for song #1 – This first track is very fitting with 4th of July. The song was inspired by the 100th anniversary of dedication of the Statue of Liberty. Lady Liberty was never so hot.
Hints for song #2 – This Los Angeles hard rock band makes it’s debut in Rock Band with a sleazy glam stripper anthem. The lead singer was once in bands Ratt and King Kobra.
Hints for song #3 – This song was featured in an 80’s teen vampire flick. It is actually a cover of a song co-written by the older Brother of Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC. Thank you Australia.
Hints for song #4 – This #1 hit from the 70’s comes from a band that has a very US sounding name, yet they formed in London. No horseplay, this is a cool track.
Hints for song #5 – This thrash band returns to our customs with a guitar heavy instrumental. It was on their 5th studio album and the last for 17 years.
Hints for song #6 – This track is from a band returning to our customs as well. It comes from the band’s debut album. This band’s name also fits right into the holiday spirit, sort of. At least as much as #4 did.
We hope you guys have fun. Check back Saturday and see if we have something cool for your holiday weekend rock Band parties.
Remember to Rock Out… Life is Short
for hint #1: David Lee Roth – Yankee Rose
Saludos!
#2 – Bullet Boys – Smooth Up In Ya
