June 7, 2015 at 12:58 pm #447410Today is Prince’s birthday. Happy Birthday Prince!!!!!
I listened to many Prince songs leading into work on Raspberry Beret. I chose it because it was steady on most instruments for whole song. Many other songs had sparse instrumentation, on one or more instruments, in them. Which make for much less exciting game play. I am a real Prince fan. I’ve seen him live and I own a ton of recorded material. I own Purple Rain on Album, CD, VHS,DVD and Blu-ray. In the future, we may give more Prince a look. Right now, I’m just happy that we brought you a fun Prince song. I hope that answered any questions anyone had about Prince and our choice.
Thank you everyone for all the kindness. This was a super fun release to work on. It was fun to do hints on. It was most fun to play them. We love this game. We will return soon with more songs and fun.
Please, remember to enjoy what you have and try not to spend too much time pining for the things you don’t have.

don’t you know that prince does not link to share his music (that is why there is no music videos of his songs or any of his music on youtube) (when glee did their version of kiss he did not like it) he also sued some people for uploading a live video of one of his songs they took at a concert

June 7, 2015 at 5:16 pm #447420HAPPY ONE YEAR GUYS! Another stellar release, picked up all 5! And it’s about time BTO made it full band to RB. You guys seriously rock!
June 7, 2015 at 8:54 pm #447429Wow, my mind is just blown by this pack. I’ve been wanting Learning to Fly with vocals for so long. I’m going to see U2 for the first time tonight so I’m going to try and play Vertigo before that too. Thank you so much!
June 7, 2015 at 9:08 pm #447431Awesome songs this week, especially love the U2 and Prince! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Thank you!!
June 8, 2015 at 7:23 pm #447506I’m late, but want to say a BIG THANKS for several of the songs on this week’s release. Been waiting on several of those for years (Prince, U2, Pink Floyd, Santana). ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
June 8, 2015 at 9:41 pm #447517Hey there Rockers,
It’s Monday again and that means it’s time to use your brains and figure out this week’s hints.
Let us begin.
Hint for song #1 – This week’s first track comes from this mega-star’s 3rd album. It gained a lot of popularity when one of the biggest bands of the 1990’s covered it for an MTV performance.
Hint for song #2 – The next track comes from an artist I’m so happy to see return to RB. This album title track featured a “siren whistle”.
Hint for song #3 – The next artist has many tracks featured in RB. This track got some writing help from Jeff Lynne. The title seems so familiar to me… Hmmm?
Hint for song #4 – This track sounded familiar, then I remembered it was in the Brutal Legend video game. The band was named after famous jousting armor.
Hint for song #5 – This Brazilian band’s name stayed the same for 19 years then dropped a “t” from it for 5 years only to change it back in 2009. This song is full of zombie violence.
Hint for song #6 – This song is from a band that is returning to our customs. It is the band’s only track with Indian percussion. I really think they intentionally misspelled the title.
Our buddy Dash Riprock got us a few vocal upgrades. Thanks Dash. You rock!!!!!!

June 8, 2015 at 9:45 pm #447518#1 Nirvana – The Man Who Sold the World
#2 Lionel Richie – All Night Long
#4 Brocas Helm – Drink the Blood of the Priest
June 8, 2015 at 9:52 pm #4475194. Brocas Helm – Cry of the Banshee, or Drink The Blood of the Priest.
Really happy to see that. I saw them live a while ago, awesome.
June 8, 2015 at 9:52 pm #447520very close, samjjones, but I am predicting David Bowie’s original version of ‘the man who sold the world’ for #1 (and totally looking forward to playing it)
June 8, 2015 at 9:53 pm #447521well, I think #1 is The man who sold the world, but not by Nivana, but by the original artist, David Bowie.
#3 Learning to fly by Tom Petty
June 8, 2015 at 9:56 pm #447522Dahhhh. You are right. I misread the Bowie clue.
June 8, 2015 at 10:16 pm #4475252. Highway 61 Revisited- Bob Dylan
5. Zombie Ritual- Sepultura
June 9, 2015 at 12:27 pm #447551Long live One man coverband’s audio skills and Nunchuck’s and Sygenysis’ productivity!
If necessary I will happily pitch vocals for the Man Who Sold the World if it turns out that song number one is indeed that one.
I had the song tempo mapped to do just that anyway.
My fingers are crossed.
June 9, 2015 at 3:06 pm #447559Thanks again to Dash for the vocal upgrades! Nunchuck and Sygenysis have done a ton of awesome work on these songs and I enjoy being able to sing some of them now. Great stuff.
