** This is a RockFight Saturday Night Special Announcement**

We go directly to the backstage area at RockFight Arena. We see Commissioner Sam J. Glarms standing by in front of a crowd of RockFight fans . There is a large curtain behind him that reads… Shocktober!!

 

SJG – “Welcome RockFight Fans!! We have a big announcement for you. This month’s Shocktober RockFight will be an “Electric Chair Match”. You may wonder ‘What the Hell is that?’. Well it is a no disqualification, 2 man tag team event with no rules and only one way to win. The winning RockFight team, must strap a member of the other team into the electric chair, at which time our “Special Referee” for the event will pull the switch, giving a huge non-lethal jolt of electricity to the man in the chair. This will be the end of the match.”

 

The large curtain is pulled and the chair is revealed behind the Commissioner. It looks ominous and there is a dummy or mannequin strapped into the chair! The Commissioner walks over to the large switch near the chair. He pulls the lever and sparks fly from the chair and the body in the chair lights up and glows brightly, just before the head explodes with a shower of sparks!
The fans in attendance start to chant…

The crowd settles a bit and the Commissioner is back on the microphone to address this wild but small crowd.
SJG – “Hold on! There is more! I would like to introduce to you now our “Special Referee” for the Electric Chair Match. This artist will be returning to the Funhouse for another Shocktober appearance. Without any further ado, I would like to introduce to you or special referee…”

Manson emerges from the shadows and the small crowd goes crazy. He walks directly to the switch and throws it again, as sparks fly all around the electric chair. Here comes another fecal chant.

WE KNOW WHERE YOU FUCKING LIVE – Our first offering this week is a track from Marilyn Manson’s newest album Heaven Upside Down. It was just released this month, if you haven’t heard the album give it a spin. This super-aggressive, angry song is one of the best Manson tracks ever. As violent and cynical as ever, this song will have you busting out some angry cursing along with Manson. Note: We are not responsible for people breaking shit when they listen or play.

 

 

Use Your Fist and Not Your Mouth – Next up, another angry aggressive anthem that will get you all revved up. This early 2000’s track features a political overtone and that good, old fashioned Manson fist-in-your-face style. Raise your middle finger and your fist in the air then rock this mother out!!!

 

 

Long Hard Road Out of Hell – The last of the Manson tracks this week is a great track. It was originally on the Spawn movie soundtrack. It was also featured on Manson’s Best Of album, Lest We Forget. This song is so good and will play great in RB3. The song is catchy and it features everything we love about Marilyn Manson. Please enjoy this Shocktober classic!!!

 

Bonus Release Notes

 

Angel Witch – Angel Witch – Original guitar chart by 2dhumanity. Classic NWOBHM song, and one of the rare same-titled artist, song and album songs.Has a pretty insane guitar part for the time, where guitar has complete control, and a catchy chorus that you’ll sing for weeks. Drums and bass keep the backing rhythm, but hardly ever take the lead, guitar is the main highlight here.

 

 

Goblin – Tenebre – Classic Italian horror movie, and theme, courtesy of Goblin. A bit haunting with its synth arrangement, every other instrument adds to the funk/disco style, with a fun drum part and bass part, which occasionally takes the lead. Famously sampled by the French synth duo Justice on their tracks Phantom and Phantom Pt. II.

 

 

Wrathchild America – What’s Your Pleasure? – Definitely WA’s most technical song, with a ridiculously fast drum part with some pretty insane rhythms and fills, at tempos that reach 240. It slows down a bit for the guitar solo, with some non-standard time signatures, but then speeds up and gets into borderline shredding territory. Bass lays the groundwork and pretty much matches guitar, not ever really taking the lead. Charted this mostly because Wrathchild America has reunited for 2017, I’m really glad that they’re back! Based off of the Hellraiser series of films, with a sample and lyrics taken from the movies

 

 

 

We did have a “Big Brain” this week. It is tough to do with no real hints. Dog will hunt!! Nice job!!!
