Great to see more Fixx songs, but I would strongly disagree about having a great chunk of their best work. Several hits are still missing.
Well, with the One Thing Leads to Another and Saved By Zero that are already in DB, it is a large chunk I think. I did not say it was complete by any stretch, I meant 5 total is pretty good.
December 17, 2016 at 4:20 pm #478938What an eclectic mix! You guys rock!

Help me out here fellas, as far as commercial hits go by ‘The Fixx’……are there any other hits by these guys that I’ve either forgotten about or don’t know by name? The two hits I do know are awesome, I love their sound and I’m really stoked to check these cons Nunchuck and Sy released today but…….is there another hit I’ve forgotten about?
December 17, 2016 at 7:52 pm #478941Awesome release guys. Very nice to see more Fixx. Thanks.
December 17, 2016 at 10:45 pm #478945I can get my Fixx today. Thanks guys!

Always amazing stuff from you 2 custom making Master’s.
I agree, Rushfan2112!!
And Housequake, I’ve resorted to putting her in handcuffs and changing passwords ’til I can catch up to her on the clues! (appreciate the tip Zim) …..
No Way!
I love the trivia and friendly competition!

Too bad you two don’t live in CO, I could really use you guys for trivia night. I’m the one who ends up carrying my team. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_dry.png” />

In actuality you probably mean her Bansheeflyer, I thought I could ‘hold my own’…. especially with rock trivia, but this woman is on fire!
I feel like she’s outta my league now. She’s convinced me, when it comes to the Funhouse, I ain’t got no game! lol
December 18, 2016 at 1:24 pm #478959What an awesome week. Thanks for the 80’s tunes. Christmas/new year is looking great with all these awesome tracks.
December 18, 2016 at 5:30 pm #478962Thank you so much for the Cars song! You might Think is one of their catchiest songs ever. You can’t go wrong with The Cars.

It’s certainly their most well-known hits (not counting “Outside”, which is basically just a B-side cut, not a “hit” by any stretch).
To round out their hits, you’d have to count “Are We Ourselves?”, “Secret Separation”, “Driven Out”, “How Much Is Enough?”, at the very least (maybe “Lost Planes”, “The Sign of Fire” and “Deeper and Deeper”, too).
Maybe in the future?
December 19, 2016 at 10:19 pm #479020Hey there Rockers,
It is Monday and that means it is time to test your brain-power with a few small clues to our next release. That release will come on Christmas Eve. We have one great week coming. Six incredible tracks that we hope everyone will dig. Let’s get right to the hints.Hint for Song #1
Our opening track this week is a huge hit that topped the charts in more than 10 countries. This slow jam was used in many TV shows and Films, including Smallville, Scrubs and Hot Tub time Machine. The artist is the son of a pretty successful Spanish singer.Hint for Song #2
Next up, this saucy artist returns to the Funhouse, but this time with her huge debut smash. This song reached #1 in more than 10 countries. The song has also gone 5X Platinum. This ode to partying features a couple of lines of vocals by P. Diddy.Hint for Song #3
Next up, a soulful roots rock band that has had a song released for RB4. We are thrilled to bring you the band’s first hit single. The band added their home state name to the band name to make it more original. Also a fun fact, at the time of this track charting, the song was the 16th song by this name to chart in the Hot 100.Hint for Song #4
In the clean-up slot, we have probably the most popular song we have ever done. It is by a band that many consider to be the best modern band ever. We have had to wait for a long time to get this song. That is super-appropriate for a song of this title. Here’s a fun fact, the video was shot in the same place as a political assassination which occurred twenty years earlier.Hint for Song #5
Our 5th track this week is from an English hard rock band. The song is from their debut studio album. It also is the title track to that album. The song is one of those rare instances that the song, the band and the album are all the same.Hint for Song #6
For our final offering this week, we have a huge returning-to-the-Funhouse artist with a rare B-Side. Originally, it was a B-Side of a huge hit for another artist. The version we did changed the name slightly and was used as a B-Side that was quite rare actually. It was later added to some compilation albums. The song was also covered by The Rolling Stones, The Animals and .38 Special.Best of luck on these! Thank you for playing along. We love it!
We had 4 “Big Brains” this week.

Remember to Rock Out… Life is Short
December 19, 2016 at 10:25 pm #479021#1 is “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias
#6 is “Round and Round” by David Bowie
I’d say #2 is “Me & U” by Cassie but that was a different mix and didn’t get 5x platinum.
