The weekend has finally returned to the Funhouse! We have a festive week for all the peeps. We have 3 outstanding female vocal songs, the White Stripes and the Funhouse Christmas song picks. Release Notes

This week, being the first week of December, thought it was the time for us to spread some holiday cheer.

Then, we thought… NAAAAHHH, let’s give them some Funhouse style holiday songs. We did just that!

**Warning**

These songs are definitely on the Naughty List. They both contain vulgar language and very adult themes.

Please don’t say you weren’t warned. That said, they are “fucking awesome!!!”

 

Let’s start with Angry Johnny and the Killbillies. They are country/punk at its best. This song is about a cheating woman, for the country part, and they tell the story it in a very punk, in your face kind of way. Also, there is heavy vengeance and vivid description of the violence involved. I really badly wanted to include Angry Johnny and the Killbillies in the Shocktober celebration. Today we finally get to present the world with Angry Johnny and the Killbillies. I would bet at least of few of our Peeps will have Bang Bang Baby Bang Bang Merry Christmas stuck in your head and sing along without conscious thought at all.

 

Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour came to the Funhouse Christmas party with X-M@$. This song is so good! It is filled with profanity and a very anti-Christmas sentiment. It is a fun song, if you don’t mind a lot of profanity. I bought it within days of hearing it. Thank you Sy, I love it!!!

 

We also had 3 super good female vocal tracks this week. There can never be enough female vocals in-game. This week, we add three more.

 

Miranda Lambert makes her first trip to the Funhouse, and brings along Kerosene. This is a fun song and it is one of the most “feels like your actually playing the song” type songs. Kerosene is so good but not too hard on all instruments. Vocals feature that I’ll-burn-your-house-down sound Miranda Lambert is so good at. Enjoy this great song!

 

I picked Angry Johnny, Miranda Lambert and Brave this week.

Sara Bareilles – Brave, is a super-positive song. I hope it counteracts some of the less-than-positive stuff we are putting out this week. We are pleased to bring this great song to Rock Band. I would be quite surprised if it isn’t Official DLC someday.

 

Lutrica McNeal – Perfect Love is a super-catchy song. So catchy, that after working on it, I ended up buying because it was so stuck in my head. Sy picked a great song here. This soulful, hip-hop track has great vocals. If you haven’t heard it, give it a listen. I had never heard it before — both my wife and I dig it a ton!!!

 

The White Stripes – We’re Gonna Be Friends is also a very positive and pretty song. I’m a big fan of the White Stripes and every song we add from them makes RB more fun to me. This simple song is fun for a two person band to play.

 

 

We had 3 “Big Brains” this week. They got all but one of the clues. Great work!! Thank you for playing!!
