Release Notes

There are a ton of songs this week. I’m not going to go on and on about eachone, but here is a quick fact about each of the ones I know a fact about…

No Reflection, (s)Aint, and Sweet Dreams make for a great pack with a song from 3 different eras. These are all great songs.

Suicide is Painless, some may recognize as the Mash Theme. This stark re-imagining was on the Blair Witch 2 soundtrack.

Master Shake and Nashville Pussy – Face Omelet and Mastodon both come from the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie. These are both fun and very much in the Shocktober vein, so to speak. We are so lucky to have these gems.

When Sy asked me about the song April Fool’s Day from the film Slaughter High, I was stoked. It is one of my favorite 80’s slasher films.

Venom – Black Metal is a dark masterpiece that has been missing from RB.

Killer Klowns by the Dickies is a super fun take on circus music with a touch of evil. This song was featured in the film Killer Klowns From Outer Space.

Bud the CHUD is a fun 80’s sounding good time with a super catchy chorus from the film CHUD 2.

 

Those are the ones I know much about. They are all creepy fun to celebrate with at your Rock Band Halloween Party. By Halloween you will be armed to crank out a monster setlist.

 

We had “Big Brains” this week. You did great with some tougher clues. You rock :rock:

Just to help you in further weeks of hints that may have pictures. Hint for #5 was a snake, which has venom literally made of black metal. #6 was very hard.
