Thanks guys, I played all the songs from last week last weekend and had a ball, I am sure the same pleasure will be had this weekend with your latest Prince gems. Thanks.
June 11, 2016 at 4:49 pm #470172Can’t thank the authors enough. Great stuff.
June 11, 2016 at 4:53 pm #470173Amazing work to all involved. This is a very fitting and loving tribute.
June 11, 2016 at 4:59 pm #470175Wow! So excited for these. Wife was thrilled to see 7 on the list.
June 11, 2016 at 10:19 pm #470190Thanks for all you guys do. It amazes me that week after week you put out at least 6 songs. I think of how long it takes me to create one finished song and I am blown away by the dedication you guys have for this game we play.

June 12, 2016 at 1:57 pm #470216Thank you everyone for all the kindness and positive energy. I am thrilled with the reception this project has received, I am moved.
So many worked so hard to get this project going. It is appreciated very much.
Loss is difficult, we hope this helps all of you to fondly remember, or discover for the first time through game-play, all of the amazing art Prince brought us.
I felt it was the least we could do to honor Prince’s memory. Prince was a big part of my life. His lyrics and music were part of the soundtrack of my life, and that will never change. I have so many memories that include those songs! Now I have more: the memory of the time me and all my friends from around the world celebrated Prince’s life and legacy together. We were sad together, and we were happy together, but no matter what… we were together.
Thank you all!
June 13, 2016 at 2:37 am #470235Excellent song choices. A huge thank you to everyone involved.
June 13, 2016 at 9:11 pm #470278Even though Prince was prominant when i was growing up, I wasnt a huge fan.
Hearing all the songs lately on the radio since his death has instilled a new appreciation of the mans work.
Thank you to all involved in this project – its is great work as well !!
June 13, 2016 at 9:38 pm #470279Hey there Rockers,
It is Monday and we are back with some clues for this Saturday’s release. It has been over 3 weeks since the last hints, let’s hope those big brains didn’t shrink while we had a few special releases. We have 6 singles from 6 artists (5 of which are new to the Funhouse and one great returning artist). Everyone rev up those thinking machines and here we go!Song #1
-Our opening track this week was the theme to a popular film sequel, that also had this artist acting in the film. The song was nominated for both a Gloden Globe and a Grammy. The song features the saxophone guy from the Lost Boys and a choir that included a 12 year old boy who would become the future captain of the England rugby team, how cool is that!Song #2
-Our next track comes from a classic rap album from the 80’s. The song samples Led Zeppelin, the Clash and Black Sabbath. Like many of this group’s early songs, it focuses on a life of crime.Song #3
-The third song this week is in tribute to a legendary athlete, activist and hero to many. The song was the first of two little known hits by this artist, both about the same subject. This song peaked at #21 on the Billboard charts.Song #4
-Our next song was the first single from this duo’s fourth album. The single was very well received and went to #1 in more than a dozen countries. The video also got quite a bit of notice, both good and bad, for its sexuality.Song #5
-This week we are proud to bring you a swamp-rock classic. It has been covered by Tom Jones and Elvis Presley, but we have the original. The song is derived from Phytolacca, not Marijuana as some thought back in the day.Song #6
-For our final offering this week, we bring an artist that has had releases through the Funhouse before. It is the title track for an album the artist himself does not like. The artist often claims the whole albums is all demos and that he walked away from the project.Hints Hall of Fame

Remember to Rock Out… Life is Short
June 13, 2016 at 9:48 pm #470280#1 is Tina Turner “We Don’t Need Another Hero” from the “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome” soundtrack, and I am PUMPED for this!!!
#2 is Beastie Boys’ “Rhymin’ and Stealin'” from “Licensed to Ill”.
#5 is Tony Joe White’s “Polk Salad Annie”.
June 13, 2016 at 9:58 pm #470281June 13, 2016 at 10:11 pm #470282I’m guessing “Black Superman” by Johnny Wakelin for #3.
The first half of the hint for #1 also applies to a song available as official DLC.
June 13, 2016 at 11:08 pm #470283Yeah! Hints!
I don’t think it fits since I don’t remember the video being controversial, but I’ll take a wild guess at #4 being
Outkast – Ms. Jackson.
I almost threw out DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince – Summertime, but that fits even less.
