Lovely to see the Moody Blues finally!
Love the moody blues. I am excited to try these this weekend. Thank you very much.
The Moody Blues were the most long overdue band to net yet see Rock Band full band treatment. Thank you for changing that. I can’t wait to play these.
There will be more where that came from!

To hear it from the Funk Meister is an honor in itself, thank you! And I aim to create more justice for this game going forward.

June 9, 2018 at 11:59 pm #498584I’ve decided to try a new method of picking off songs quick from my WIP list and found a great unifying theme of much of my planned releases. Some time in April, I first thought about this and realized that my infatuation with prog, rock, metal, etc. had a common thread rooted in classical music (or was influenced by such in their discographies). So I am running this summer event dedicated to the symphonic, as SYMPHONIC SUMMER. Most of these releases will be rooted in progressive rock, but will include various metals as well.Weekend Of June 9, 2018: SYMPHONIC SUMMER Pack 1 – Styx Pyx Vol. 1Our first release for this event is dedicated to classic rock’s STYX. Although the tracks presented here aren’t their most stringy of works, the band in general has a connection to the classical in quite a lot of their early and a bit of their later work. Many thanks to Ejthedj for making this quickly possible, and helping with some cleanup and reductions.Manual Reductions/OD/Compilation: ejthedjPreview: MrPrezidentCON: GET IT HEREAudio Source Lineage: 1974 Analog Master -> 2005 Remaster (Rhino Records) -> CD -> WAVAdditional Notes: Hands down THE BEST Wooden Nickel-era Styx track, or at least for this album. The very demonic organ gives off a hard tinge (a la Uriah Heep or Deep Purple) for an epic that belongs in the pantheon of Heavy Metal.Initial Vocals/Manual Reductions/OD/Compilation: ejthedjCON: GET IT HEREAudio Source Lineage: 1977 Analog Master (1987 DeYoung remix?) -> Japanese SHM CD (not sure which year) -> WAV (with adjustments)Additional Notes: Another classic track following the album’s theme of Illusion. Here we have an icon of American pop culture, the great beauty queen of America, selected once a year to be prouded and gawked until she fades from the spotlight to be “forgotten”. (The difficulty rating for the vocals is probably wrong, not sure)Cleanup/Manual Reductions/OD/Compilation: ejthedjPreview: MrPrezidentCON: GET IT HEREAudio Source Lineage: 1978 US Vinyl -> ION Profile LP (with preamp) -> Audacity -> Click/Noise Removal -> Mp3 -> Detailed Click Removal -> WAVAdditional Notes: Probably one of the good deep cuts from this band, having a somber entry and exit, with a rocking maniacal center. DeYoung laments of a woman whose nature fills him with regret but he can never elude her. This is not all for Styx. More is on the way ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />Note: There may be other unrelated releases coinciding with this event, however they will be just as good/enjoyable!June 10, 2018 at 1:12 am #498586Things have been too quiet at C3 lately. This helps quite a bit. Thanks.

“Man of Miracles” has been updated. The cymbal swells in the intro were not 2-lane like they should have been. I also fixed a few notes here and there.

Fixes have been uploaded to the Iron Maiden songs that I released as well. I apologize for the late fixes as I have been taking long breaks from authoring lately. But who knows, I may just have a new custom coming soon?
