Hi all. We have completed scripting the stats pages for downloads of C3 songs. All authors can now find the Stats link on the left of the Control Panel toolbar (at the top of the page). The stats available are:

      – Your downloaded songs with number of downloads

      – Daily activity on your files, with number of total downloads by date

      – Top downloaded C3 songs with authors, with your songs highlighted

All stats are calculated using a cookies/IP system, so that multiple downloads from the same user of the same file are not counted (except for some rare instances).

We are still deciding on how and if to release info on top downloaded songs, numbers, etc., so in the meantime please don’t advertise your numbers, although we’re not preventing you from discussing them and comparing them. We just don’t want to draw a lot of attentions to how many times these files are downloaded.

If you encounter any issue, feel free to report thme here.

This is a really cool feature, it’s great to see the songs you create getting downloaded hundreds of times. Really motivating to make more. Thanks Farottone!

I couldn’t agree more. I can’t believe the only song that’s been released by me had that many downloads. Definitely motivates me to make more songs as well.

We have now made all stats with full numbers available to all authors. It’s worth repeating that you shouldn’t advertise your numbers: although we’re not preventing you from discussing them and comparing them, we don’t want to draw a lot of attentions to how many times these files are downloaded.

Nobody has advertised their numbers so I’m just repeating it to make sure nobody will in the future, not because something happened. Have fun!
