Hi at all! I don’t play Rocksmith, but “a doubt kills me”: since in Rocksmith you can play both guitar and bass, songs should have guitar track, bass track and other, right? Because, if you play guitar, bass track should be played in the background along with the rest of the track, and the viceversa when you play the bass. So, is my reasoning right or not?
Thanks in advance!
Rocksmith does not use any multitrack at all. It’s just a single audio file.
The way Rocksmith works is that you jam along to the notation on-screen while a single audio file plays of the song. Guitar is not muted on the track when you play; instead, your playing is put on top of the full mix. So as Nemo said, no multitracks there.
