wow – cant believe I have missed this until now.

 

This is great Mr Prez and I cant wait to see what else you have in store for us !!

 

There is so much Canadian content that I would love to have in the game, any chance you are doing some Monster Truck or Big Sugar ?

 

That’s funny, I heard Monster Truck on the radio this morning and while I recognized the song (Don’t Tell Me How To Live), I didn’t realize that was the name of the band until I saw it on my car’s digital radio readout thingy.

 

I was also thinking some Matthew Good Band might be nice to do at some point. While they have a lot of hits (Hello Time Bomb, Apparitions, Load Me Up, Indestructible, Strange Days, etc), I feel like Weapon would be suuuuper fun.

 

MrPrez here has given me the push I needed to really start authoring in earnest, and there are so many Canadian bands that are sorely underrepresented. Like he said, it’s early in the year. Thought of another couple that would be great fun: Junkhouse and Lowest of the Low. And First Day of Spring by the Gandharvas still has time for an appropriately placed release.

 

Drummed my way through the first release. Really fun stuff. Now to attack the other instruments.

That being said the next Canada 150 pack is about 25% done. I’ll have more details next week.

Here are some Canada 150 Pack Facts

• We are currently 14 days away from “Canada 150 Pack #2”.
• There will be songs from seven Canadian rock bands
• Sloan is the featured artist so it’s reasonable to expect more than one or two songs
• The pack is about 75% done, all but three songs are ready for testing
• Contributions from five different custom authors including myself, Froogs, Mortarion42, Spindoctor and Dash Riprock
• It’s looking like I will be done ahead of schedule so I may either add more songs/artists or just start working on the next one
• Canada 150 Pack #3 will drop in May 2017 and so far there are three other authors plus myself contributing to the pack.
• Pack #3 will focus on Canadian hit songs from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Not sure who will be featured yet.
• Pack #4 will drop on Canada Day, July 1st 2017.

 

I have scheduled myself a break for the last two weeks of April – I’m going to go do some surfing in Tofino, some major gardening, get some sunshine, and not think about how many parts I have to author in Reaper today.
