Hi guys,

 

First time poster here. I’ve dabbled in making a few charts for Clone Hero over the years and wondered if any of you want to take them and add in the other instruments or convert them to rbcons for your Rock Band games. If you decide to use my chart and flesh it out and reupload it, could you let me know and please credit me in the upload description. Other than that I am happy for you guys to use my charts as you see fit ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />.

 

So far all of these contain Expert 5-Fret Guitar only. No vocals/lyrics, drums, bass or keys.

One thing I do want to point out is to make sure that you don’t post songs that are already in the game as official DLC (I’m mostly referring to “Johnny B. Goode” – if it’s the the version in Back to the Future then no problem but if it’s the original Chuck Berry version we’ll have to ask you to remove it).

I need to seriously make more friends with Clone Hero people. Why isn’t this a thing? I don’t love doing guitar charts and they don’t do drum charts and rarely pitched vocals. Like perfect matches for me. Appreciate you posting Mr. Deftino. I’m eyeing those Biffy’s and Scott Pilgrim ones.

Yeah, it’d be good if CH and C3 could work with each other more. There was some unpleasantness between both communities a couple of years ago which hasn’t helped relations but as a CH charter, I would love more cooperation between the two groups.

Fake My Own Death is probably the roughest of the bunch I posted. The timing for that intro riff and the verses was very hard to get down but I think it’s a decent enough chart ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Well, I’m an independent contractor not bound by rules of any single community. Plus, I have no idea what the unpleasantness was, but I’m sure there’s more like me who just want to put good charts together so we can play and release the music we love. I just happen to like it best on RB, or else I’d chart wherever else. Tried getting into setting up my laptop to work with the PC games, it just is more trouble for me in my situation.

 

That said, I’d love to work with CH people. If they like my charts enough (don’t look at those first ones! …unless I’ve redone them, then you can look), maybe they’d want to work with me too. Is there like some kind of list of people who don’t mind RB3 people or something I can look over?

I second that my dude. I just wanna make charts for the rhythm game community at large. I don’t care if you use Clone Hero, Guitar Hero, Rock Band… whatever. They all work the same way. Personally I’ve not encountered any hostility between communities, and most people I know play more than one of these games anyway. I have every official song available in my Clone Hero plus a wealth of customs. But I also like to mod my Green Day: Rock Band if I can to make it more complete – plus I like the background stuff. It’s cool seeing little cartoon renditions of Green Day perform while I shred.
