Does anyone else have problems playing this one on harmonies?
Today I decided to reorganize my customs collection and rebuilt my memory sticks, which of course meant rebuilding the song caches to be RBHP-aware. On a lark, “More than a Feeling” happened to be the first song I picked to test, and it crashed the game during the cut scene before the song. I tried other songs afterward, though, and they all played fine. I was using an older RBHP Master Pack from 2015, so I downloaded the latest Master Pack dated 4/22/16, but my results are the same: “More than a Feeling” crashes if I pick harmonies, while other songs, including other Boston songs, play without issue.
I had the same issue. There’s a few that dont work off the bat. You need to grab the song and merge the harms with the original by itself. I think theres a way in the Con tools, but I cant remember how.
The issue may be that if you own the official pro guitar upgrade optional file it is causing a conflict with the harmonies upgrade. Like Mango said there is a way to merge all the upgrades together but I’m not too familiar as well. Obviously C3 Con Tools can do it.
Thanks, guys. I guess I missed the memo about the harmony upgrades not playing nice with the pro guitar upgrades. Makes sense. If nothing else, it’s comforting to know it’s not my USB drives, which had been giving me grief earlier!
I’m gradually getting more familiar with the CON tools, so I have some options to explore. Fingers crossed! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
PS – I think I figured it out. I haven’t yet tried to play this Frankensteined creation, but it seems to have built cleanly at least.
Nemo, if you’re reading this, you really deserve even more credit than you’re getting for C3 Con Tools. I’ve been able to scratch a lot of OCD itches with my RB3 song collection thanks to these tools. Thank you!
