February 4, 2014 at 12:41 pm #413423So for “Baby is on fire” are you going to chart Ninja’s part as harmonies or include both Ninja and Yo Landi in the solo vocals?A little of both. Solo has the both of them, but forgoes Yolandi’s part during the chorus. The harmonies are Ninja, Yolandi, and Ninja harmony for the chorus, in that order.

February 16, 2014 at 8:35 am #414172Updated the lists. Please keep in mind that this is in no way a guarantee that I’ll be doing these songs, and there’s always the chance someone will get to them before me, but either way I’d love to see them in the game. And by no means does this mean that anyone shouldn’t start work on any of those, I’m not laying any claims on them.

February 17, 2014 at 11:04 pm #414277Your list of future projects has me very, very excited!Again, I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, these are just things I would really enjoy seeing in Rock Band, either for my own enjoyment or because I know other people would enjoy them (or both).
I’ve started mapping the BPM for the Divinyls’ “I Touch Myself”, and I am quickly realizing MANUALLY MAPPING BPM TAKES FOREVER. But I’m glad I know how to do it.
February 25, 2014 at 12:58 am #414686A LOT of those under ‘maybe’ seem like they’d be kickass to have in-game.

The problem with WANTING to chart things on this site (versus when you finally upload them) is choosing to
a) announce it to the whole site that you’re working on something (and possibly have someone go “hey, already working on that”)
or keep it a surprise, put some work into it, then put it up (and still risk that somebody else is working on it).
Or maybe that’s just me being paranoid.

That shouldn’t stop you unless you have already gotten a message about something being worked on though. Besides, I am pretty sure big parts of your list are pretty much fair game

Yeah. I mean, if any single guy is considered the “insert band here” charter/author around here, I can support an unwritten code of honour of not touching that band. But a list of tens of songs I think works only if you actually have done those and they only need polishing or somethig similar, otherwise it’s, as you say, fair game.

Hell, I’d be just as happy hearing someone go “Dude, I had forgotten about that song until I saw it on your list, I’m making it right now!” But the mild paranoia is still there, especially when I’d rather not announce I’m working on something until I’ve got the BPM mapped (which can take forever).
Everyone has my explicit permission to chart anything on that list, or other songs by bands I’ve already done, not that they’d need my permission. And I’d possibly be willing to help out.
November 12, 2016 at 7:07 am #477613I like your list. I have a list of song requests and I’m going through and checking off the ones that appear in the WIP section. Could you confirm working on Superman by Goldfinger?
