ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (BEAT): MIDI track name event must appear at 1:1:000; found track name ‘BEAT’ at 123:3:000

Beat track is dragged over to 1:1:00

Beat track event is set to 1:1:00

If I move the Beat track to 2:1:00 it will then read

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (BEAT): MIDI track name event must appear at 1:1:000; found track name ‘BEAT’ at 1:4:000

Any help would be appreciated

You say when you put the marker at 2.1, Magma complaints that it’s at 1.4? That’s an odd one. My first guess would be to make sure all other tracks and their track name markers are properly positioned. If so, and Magma still complains, I’d suggest making your REAPER project file available for download somewhere, and then another author can have a look and possibly tell you what’s going on.
