Which microphones do you use with RB3 in XBOX?
I have the game on PS3, and use RB1 and wireless Singstar mics, but my cousin just bought a box of RB stuff for XBOX which included a pair of wired Singstar mics which don’t seem to work (they do work when connected to a Mac, so they should not be faulty).
Which microphones do you XBOXers use successfully also with other games? He has RB2, RB3 and TBRB.
Thanks!
any usb mic pretty well from ny singing game works..ive used rb ones..singstar etc
What chaosjaye said.
Hell, I’ve even used a USB headset when I was out of other options.
I’ve seen people using XLR mics with USB adapters on both platforms. Though it seems it’s a bit random on what model will be read by the game, and it seems different between the two platforms.
Logitech USB microphones… since Konami’s Karaoke Revolution years.
There’s also the official Xbox 360 wireless microphones that were once used with their own karaoke series, Lips. I think they only work with RB3, though.

Is there such a thing as xbox Singstar mics?
Just asking because the ones my cousin has are definitely Singstar mics but I am starting to question whether they are for another console, because I couldn’t find the Singstar game itself for xbox!
The SingStar series is published by Sony, so no, no XBox versions.

Thanks for clarifying!
@chaosjaye do you remember if you used ps3 singstar mics on your xbox?
yup long as its usb ..ive mics here from every music game known to man..were a family of vocialists. singstar works ill take a pic later of em jacked in
The wired Logitech brand mics are probably best for score-hunting, but the official wireless ones are great for parties due to there being less wires to deal with, and up to 3 of either will work with RB3; I’ve had 3 wireless mics working just fine.
