No you need the EA version. It all has to do with not running title update #5, which the MadCatz version comes with I believe.

Thanks im not sure if you know the answer to this but are there any other games that i can add songs too and can i have some links i really am new and i just want to be able to add some songs to some games and have some fun with my friends thank you.

Rock Band 2 can have customs on it (with working multiplayer too!)

Sort of a risky move but it makes RB Blitz customs work as well as other RB games in the era.
