Btw, maybe you’ll also consider T-ara’s “Roly Poly” in the future? ^^

May 29, 2015 at 3:48 pm #446642Thanks for U Can’t Touch This! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
May 29, 2015 at 3:59 pm #446643Awesome week.
Just curious why “Escape from the City” doesn’t have Crush 40 as the artist? It’s on the same album Open Your Heart, Live and Learn, etc
May 29, 2015 at 4:11 pm #446645Thanks so much for “Nude”. After “Reckoner” was released, I was wondering if you guys would do “Nude” since it also had officially released multitracks, and sure enough… ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> You guys are awesome.

Well, Crush 40 is the name of the band featuring Jun Senoue (guitarist) and Johnny Gioeli (singer), and Johnny doesn’t sing on EFTC – it’s Ted Poley and Tony Harnell, who also did “It Doesn’t Matter” for the Sonic Adventure games. Because of this, the song has never been officially credited to Crush 40. You’re right though, it did appear on Crush 40’s self-titled album as a bonus track, but this was two years after Sonic Adventure 2, and it was only because it’s Jun Senoue’s most popular solo recording. EFTC also wasn’t on Crush 40’s greatest hits and they never perform it live, so it’s not really considered a Crush 40 song by any definitions.
I decided to credit it to “Sonic Adventure 2” rather than “Ted Poley and Tony Harnell” to keep it sorted alongside the other SA2 track released by C3, because I don’t like songs from the same OST to be scattered throughout my song list because they’re all by different singers/musicians. (There is a lot of debate on this and I know there are a few C3 guys who feel differently, so I want to state that this is my opinion and not C3’s.)
May 29, 2015 at 4:43 pm #446649Yeah, with songs like this it gets a little ambiguous.
Personally I would try to put all the ones together (under the same artist) that are close, including EFTC and Green Forest, but I know there is no real right answer for this.
Not a huge deal, just curious about your/C3’s thoughts on that lol
May 29, 2015 at 5:00 pm #446651I’m incredibly excited for Escape From The City!!! Thanks!!
May 29, 2015 at 5:15 pm #446652This Sonic pack kind of puts me in the mood to do “With Me” from the Black Knight soundtrack (with guest guitar solos from Marty Friedman, what can go wrong?)
May 29, 2015 at 5:30 pm #446654thanks for radiohead! it’s my bday!
May 29, 2015 at 7:26 pm #446656Funny, I was playing SA and SA2 again this week while testing some Dreamcast hardware I’m getting ready to sell. Thanks for the tracks!
