March 27, 2015 at 3:46 pm #441430I’m curious as to what the “game engine limitations” are that made Moonrise have to be split up.
For reference we have Octavarium and 2112 as fully multitracked, all-instruments 20 minute+ songs that the game engine can handle just fine.
March 27, 2015 at 4:02 pm #441431Excellent choice for a theme week.
BNL I will get for my dad, who loves BBT.
Not at all surprised to see MLP:FIM, even though it isn’t my cup of tea.
I’ll probably grab Seinfeld just for familiarity.
The Rembrandts is a guilty pleasure.
Hawaii Five-O reminds me to suggest a beach venue for RB4.
For pack 2 my suggestions are:
Airwolf
M*A*S*H
Slayers season 1
Possibly Quantum Leap and Knight Rider. Might be fun to “sing” the opening monologues ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
March 27, 2015 at 4:04 pm #441432Holy crap, this is fantastic. Utterly psyched for Alabama Three, Rembrandts, Refreshments, Barrnaked Ladies.
Lots of other greats, too.
Just awesome!!!
March 27, 2015 at 4:26 pm #441433Nice assortment. I’ll definitely get the Ventures and Rembrandts tracks. My roommate will have a duck when he hears the MLP theme coming from Rock Band. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
March 27, 2015 at 4:35 pm #441435Great choices for the TV themed pack. If there is a second pack, I would like to see the themes for Malcolm in the Middle, Teen Titans and maybe some wrestling themes charted.

I haven’t heard all these songs released this week in full yet. However, I don’t think it’s a question of limitations, but rather that those 4 songs are completely different, but share a common theme. Similar to Billy Idol’s “White Wedding” parts 1 and 2 or AFI’s “The Leaving Song” parts 1 and 2.
They’re separate songs, with White Wedding part 2 not even being on the same album. And in AFI’s case, they are on the same album, but on completely separate locations.
March 27, 2015 at 4:42 pm #441439That’s not what the blog post says though. That’s why I ask.

The game crashes when it gets to the results screen if you have more than one player . If you can figure out why that’d be greatly appreciated.

It was scrapped for lack of sources to author from, along with Moving On Up, sadly.

Ah. Could you explain this a bit more for my O2 deprived brain please? You mean like CD/LP source or tabs/midi/guitar pro type source?
Anyway sounds like a job for us Other Customs types to try our hand at ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
March 27, 2015 at 5:08 pm #441447sweet, thanks! will pick up the friends theme, big bang theory theme and maybe a few more!
March 27, 2015 at 5:09 pm #441448AnonymousOMG Moonrise! I was thinking about what that song would be like on RB3 just a few weeks ago! Any chance to have a version of it ALL together in one song rather than in 4 parts though? I’m just curious.
