Sorry, MANG0 (and Farottone), no rudeness intended. It’s a great song choice and long overdue. Thanks for that.
But to be fair, I’ve seen typos in a few of your songs (visualizer and lyrics) and that kind of thing bugs the crap out of me. Especially when you otherwise make fairly decent charts. For us, it takes away from the enjoyment of the songs. Not trying to beat up on you here, just thought I should point it out. Keep ’em coming.

“The song is said to have been earlier offered to The Monkees, although songwriter Jeff Barry denies this.[2] Don Kirshner has said that Mike Nesmith put his fist through the wall of the Beverly Hills Hotel refusing to do “Sugar, Sugar”.[3] However, the first incident took place in early 1967, whereas “Sugar, Sugar” was written in early 1969. Monkees archival expert Andrew Sandoval has suggested that the band may instead actually have been offered a tune called “Sugar Man”, but with the passage of time the parties involved simply mis-remembered it as being “Sugar, Sugar”, in large part because it made a better anecdote. Peter Tork claimed in an interview that the band were offered the song “Sugar, Sugar”, despite Jeff Barry’s denial of this.”

I don’t know how this one got by me, but somehow it did.
A belated thank you for this Mango and Doc, I downloaded it when it came out and just walked out the door…“Honest officer, I was headed over to the ‘Thank You’ cashier but then I had to use the restroom and after using the restroom, I realized I left my keys back there so I headed back to the restroom to find them, but then I couldn’t find ’em so I had to…………HOUSEQU-A-A-A-KE!”
