For some reason, Magma isn’t building a song even though I’ve got all the proper information filled in. It gets to step 2 in the process, then stops doing anything. No error message or crash report, just nothing. I’ve tried reloading the project and even making a new magma project entirely and it’s still not working.

 

Looks a little something like this… Then it gets stuck

 

Anyone had this problem before?

How big/long is the song and how long have you waited for magma? Have you had other successful builds in the past or is this your first?

The song is only about 4 minutes, and the chart is drums only. I’ve had no problems using Magma in the past, and I tried re-making cons from older projects and those have worked. The longest I’ve waited is 6 minutes, but I don’t know if that matters since the option in the bottom corner changes from “Cancel” to “Close,” which I take to mean it stopped trying entirely.

That is super weird. I’m not sure if/when I would have time to look (and even if I did, if I would be of any help) but you could try posting the RPP for people to take a look at.

You have issues with the Events track.

Wrong track name for starters.

Yours had PART EVENTS when it should be just EVENTS

Magma spit out a few other text event errors as well

I got it to build by just replacing the events track

Thanks guys, that was the problem. At some point when I was adding practice sections the ‘EVENTS’ tag got deleted and I added it again with the wrong name.
