Interesting new wrinkle, found while trying to incorporate columbo’s latest pro into “Rain Is Falling”. It passes the regular compilation stuff, but then I get this after the lighting stuff:
MIDI Compiler: Validating...
MIDI Validation failed: (expectedTrackCount e:prjrbnsystemsrcrbnvalidatorMidiValidator.cpp, line 311
There are 19 MIDI tracks when you have everything (pro keys + pro bass + pro guitar).
Looks like we need another hack!

21 was the highest number of RB supported tracks the last time I looked into it.
Quick question;
Is it possible to disable the check for matching colors on lower difficulties of 5-lane instruments? I thought this was one of the stupidest and most unnecessary changes to the RBN 2.0 rules, and would like to be afforded a little bit more freedom when reducing.
Already done. Will be in next update.

This annoyed me for one of my upcoming charts. I had greens on only one part of the song at the end, with a quick green->red hammer-on chain repeat, and I had to map the notes to green instead of red for the lower diffs heh.

Actually I think thats Lyoko
@Espher you have access to the unreleased 1.1 beta. Why not use that?
Because I was just pointing out that it was a past situation that annoyed me (and the chart was done before 1.1 was a thing, which is when I first encountered it)? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif”>
Right. Reading comprehension fail.
[disabling the check for matching colors on lower difficulties of 5-lane instruments is] already done. Will be in next update.
Seriously, man. At least let us bake you some cookies for your hard work.
to be fair, that was mostly Pikminguts92 research and work. So he deserves all that credit. Next version will also have a section in the READ ME thanking everyone involved ’cause I don’t feel right taking all the credit.
How about a new “Add version number to Song ID” option, kind of like “Custom Song ID” – auto-bump that version every time the build button is used, and maybe auto-save the rbproj.
You could append the current number in the menu: e.g., “Add version number to Song ID (5)”
the new version has the whole custom ID done in a different way that I think makes that not needed I think.
I REALLY don’t get this.
It says that I need MagmaCore.dll to work the program, so I paste it into the folder. Once I click it: Nothing happens. Nothing shows up, and the program doesn’t load.
