Keep getting this problem:

Also it looks like you’re trying to author a unison phrase at the start of the song; which is not recommended to have unison/overdrive there (+ there’s no notes for OD for other difficulties, that’s also a problem).
This is all stuff the error log tells ya.

Magma: C3 Roks Edition v3.3.2
=============================ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART GUITAR): Difficulty expert: Gem at [2:1:000] is only 2.00 seconds into the song; gems cannot appear before 2.45 seconds into the songERROR: MIDI Compiler: (BEAT): MIDI events at [17:4:120] after the end event at [17:4:000]ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART GUITAR): Overdrive phrase at [2:1:000] has no gems in easy difficultyI have to admit I’m curious: what part of these errors you find baffling? The first one specifically, how could that be phrased better to make you understand that games cannot appear before 2.45 seconds and you have gems 2 seconds into the song?
February 24, 2017 at 10:55 pm #481863ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (BEAT): MIDI events at [17:4:120] after the end event at [17:4:000]
That’s a short song right there.
And overdrive on the second measure?
Perhaps a certain someone is trolling?
March 11, 2017 at 9:12 pm #482582Magma won’t accept my author ID? Can anyone help me with this?
March 21, 2017 at 3:25 am #482983I’m officially ending support for the program. It’s been obvious, but putting the fine point on it.

February 12, 2018 at 2:33 pm #495333Wasn’t sure where to ask for help as the thread made by a user experiencing the same error as me was locked at his own request for whatever reason… so here I am. That error is AllNotesAreOff.
I just went to compile a new custom for testing and the process would not complete. It simply hanged here:
Project Compiler: Entering Phase 1 of 5…

Metadata Compiler: Done.

I think you should export the midi file again.
February 12, 2018 at 7:06 pm #495344Tried that many times. Same result each attempt. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
DenVaktare might have used a non-Reaper program to chart some instruments. Could that be part of the issue?

Could be. In that case, try the Nemo’s MIDI Cleaner, accessible from MagmaC3 third tab.

Gave it a whirl. Here are the results:
Seems like there’s an error there that it can’t fix. But I don’t know what that error is. And I still got the same error as above upon compilation because nothing was fixed. So no dice.
February 14, 2018 at 2:17 am #495368It’s a bad midi file for Magma and RB3 purposes. There’s only one guy I know might be able to help… raynebc. Send him a message.

I just might do that. But for now, I muted the bass track and it compiled. So I’ll investigate the bass track further.Actually, I was wrong. It was just doing the first “error” I had, hanging after “MIDI Compiler: Skipping camera autogen…” and not actually compiling, lol

Very interesting issue…
I’ve definitely always used REAPER (and did so for this project) as well as always quantize the notes so that unfortunately rules that out! Huh… Headscratcher indeed!
February 14, 2018 at 10:15 am #495378…welp. I created a fresh Magma project and, bam, it compiled. Sigh. Lesson learned.
