As stated in the error log: Gems can’t be 2 seconds into the song, so move the audio and your gems to 3:1.000 instead of leaving them at 2:1.000.

Also it looks like you’re trying to author a unison phrase at the start of the song; which is not recommended to have unison/overdrive there (+ there’s no notes for OD for other difficulties, that’s also a problem).

This is all stuff the error log tells ya.

I have to admit I’m curious: what part of these errors you find baffling? The first one specifically, how could that be phrased better to make you understand that games cannot appear before 2.45 seconds and you have gems 2 seconds into the song?

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (BEAT): MIDI events at [17:4:120] after the end event at [17:4:000]

That’s a short song right there.

And overdrive on the second measure?

Perhaps a certain someone is trolling? :raise:

Magma won’t accept my author ID? Can anyone help me with this?

I’m officially ending support for the program. It’s been obvious, but putting the fine point on it.

Wasn’t sure where to ask for help as the thread made by a user experiencing the same error as me was locked at his own request for whatever reason… so here I am. That error is AllNotesAreOff.

I just went to compile a new custom for testing and the process would not complete. It simply hanged here:

Project Compiler: Entering Phase 1 of 5…
    Metadata Compiler: Starting…
    Metadata Compiler: Done.
Project Compiler: Entering Phase 2 of 5…
    MIDI Compiler: Starting…
MIDI Compiler: Loaded autogen theme ‘ArenaRock.rbtheme’…
    MIDI Compiler: Skipping drums autogen…
MIDI Compiler: Autogenerating PART KEYS animations…
    MIDI Compiler: Skipping vocals autogen…
MIDI Compiler: Skipping ‘PART GUITAR’ autogen…
MIDI Compiler: Skipping ‘PART BASS’ autogen…
    MIDI Compiler: Skipping lighting autogen…
    MIDI Compiler: Skipping camera autogen…

So, I pressed the close button, because there was nothing else to do. Upon trying to compile again, I got this error:

Project Compiler: Entering Phase 1 of 5…
    Metadata Compiler: Starting…
    Metadata Compiler: Done.

    Here’s the MIDI:

10 tracks, because there three vocal parts but no keys. Any ideas?

I think you should export the midi file again.

Tried that many times. Same result each attempt. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

DenVaktare might have used a non-Reaper program to chart some instruments. Could that be part of the issue?

Could be. In that case, try the Nemo’s MIDI Cleaner, accessible from MagmaC3 third tab.

Gave it a whirl. Here are the results:

Seems like there’s an error there that it can’t fix. But I don’t know what that error is. And I still got the same error as above upon compilation because nothing was fixed. So no dice.

It’s a bad midi file for Magma and RB3 purposes. There’s only one guy I know might be able to help… raynebc. Send him a message.

I just might do that. But for now, I muted the bass track and it compiled. So I’ll investigate the bass track further.

Actually, I was wrong. It was just doing the first “error” I had, hanging after “MIDI Compiler: Skipping camera autogen…” and not actually compiling, lol

    Very interesting issue…

I’ve definitely always used REAPER (and did so for this project) as well as always quantize the notes so that unfortunately rules that out! Huh… Headscratcher indeed!

…welp. I created a fresh Magma project and, bam, it compiled. Sigh. Lesson learned.
