Well, as I said, there is no way to bypass that check. But if you’re going to work around it, it’s even easier if you do what farottone suggests, but name the proper MIDI file override.mid and put it in the same directory as that song’s Magma project file. Enable the option to override MIDI file in advanced settings and Magma will use the MIDI you fed it to build the RBA, and the override MIDI to build the CON.

    Nope. That’s a HMX limitation.

I figured there would be no way around it but fixing the tempo map. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

Delete the offending markers, export, undo, compile in Magma, re-export and inject the MIDI in the CON file with C3 CON Tools.

Thats a very sneaky method. Worked like a charm and the parts of the song that slow under 20bpm and then crawl back up to normal works in game! Incredible pro tip.

Does the vocal tonic note information get written in the RBA? Audition mode still uses the blank default vocal hud but playing it normally under TU4 shows the more detailed one.

It does not. That was a choice made by HMX. The only way we can add is by adding to the CON during the RBA conversion.

    It’s the how-to links.

They take me back to the front page.

Anyway to bypass the .mid check for authoring errors and create the rest?

Sure. Do the research. Option is there.

I’m in a weird situation with this and C3 Con Tools. I got a new computer recently (downgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 7), and when i try to use either programs, they don’t open.

    Any way to fix this?

Make sure you have everything listed in the OP of each program. It’s probably missing .NET framework. Make sure AV isn’t deleting or quarantining the programs.

I’ll take a 2nd check to make sure i have everything.

It tells me that i have that or a upgraded version already installed on my computer.

Ok. What about the other question? I mean, if it’s a problem with the program(s), they would crash and show an error. Failing to start is something outside of the program(s).
