Well, wish I could tell ya I knew the solution but I do not either
You can always just extract the files with C3 CON Tools, then drag/drop the DTA to the form, the album art to the album art image, and the MIDI to the MIDI box. The only thing that won’t happen in that case is the auto separation of the audio.
May 22, 2015 at 3:31 am #446057Well, since the updated added a Wii Mode banner, I’ve updated my Clean Light and Clean Dark themes to include that. Plus a missing graphic for the name checkbox icon.
June 9, 2015 at 2:03 am #447533Just a quick question. I’ve been using Magma C3 Roks Edition to replace the audio in some cons, and recompiling them with the new auto-id (so scores can be saved), but there are a few I can’t do, such as the non-exported songs, and some older customs due to Magma having to compile the mid as well. Since they aren’t RBN 2.0 standard, it fails to complete. Is there a way to bypass this, and use magma to simply build the mogg file to manually insert into the con? If not, would there be a way to implement such a feature? Or perhaps even a separate tool for doing this, instead of having to build it manually in audacity?
June 9, 2015 at 2:18 am #447534Is there a way to bypass this, and use magma to simply build the mogg file to manually insert into the con?You can use the fixed up MIDI, or a MIDI from a new custom that will compile, and have the original MIDI in the same directory as the Magma project, name it override.mid and enable that option under ADVANCED SETTINGS. That’ll replace the MIDI that goes in the CON file with that one.
If not, would there be a way to implement such a feature? Or perhaps even a separate tool for doing this, instead of having to build it manually in audacity?I’m not doing anything else for Magma, so you’re out of luck there. In any case, there is no known way to make a proper mogg header other than through MagmaCompiler. You can put the multi-channel ogg file together in Audacity, or a variety of other programs. But without the mogg header that MagmaCompiler adds, RB3 will not be able to resume at the correct offset when you pause and unpause the game, along with other complications.

Nice, the override feature should work just fine for helping replace the audio without getting hung up on fixing/replacing the mid. Thanks for pointing that out. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
June 13, 2015 at 6:47 pm #447896Is this the software I would use if i have a ton of songs by an artist and they show the correct album but arent grouped by album?
June 13, 2015 at 6:48 pm #447897Nope. This is to create the songs. To modify existing songs you want C3 CON Tools.
June 13, 2015 at 6:52 pm #447899Nope. This is to create the songs. To modify existing songs you want C3 CON Tools.ah, yes. Hey i just watched your entire tutorial on C3 Con tools, all of it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> Floridian hype!
But even after that I cant quite figure out how to edit all my current Muse songs so that they all are grouped by album, so far only “black holes and revelations”, and “origin of symmetry” are working as such. I apologize if i missed something.

If you have less than 3 songs from each album, they won’t group anyway, so if that is case you know why.

And if i have 3 or more per album but they arent grouping? how exactly would i fix that in C3? sorry i know its the wrong thread. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
June 13, 2015 at 7:33 pm #447902I would open a new thread honestly, this is not really related to how the tools work.
July 5, 2015 at 6:41 pm #449602I’m trying to compile a song that has a few tempo markers below 40bpm. I’m using Magma V3.3.1 but it won’t let me compile the song when I disable “Check for Tempo Map” and disabled “Bypass Nemo’s Midi Validator”. Magma just keeps throwing the errors that the tempo markers are too low. Is there any way around this without having to actually fix the tempo map markers to 40?
July 5, 2015 at 9:12 pm #449607Nope. That’s a HMX limitation.

Delete the offending markers, export, undo, compile in Magma, re-export and inject the MIDI in the CON file with C3 CON Tools.
