There’s definitely not any duplicate files, especially in all 40 instances. I only use the hard drive for customs as well. I am stumped.
November 9, 2014 at 5:10 pm #432542What about song cache files in a usb, internal or external storage? It’s an in game conflict as the file working for me indicates the file itself is fine.
November 9, 2014 at 5:16 pm #432545I have experienced a similar result using v3.2 with v2.2 projects.
Using a sandbox stick with no pre-existing cache, only the first project compiled appears in my song list. Tried twice, same result.
Same files recompiled with v2.2 do appear and there are no other storage devices attached.

November 9, 2014 at 5:17 pm #432546What about song cache files in a usb, internal or external storage? It’s an in game conflict as the file working for me indicates the file itself is fine. Can it be that the cache is still retaining something from the old file that prevents the game from loading the new file. In example, can the cache find info about the song, ignore the new DTA and looks for the actual files in a different CON, then not finding them doesn’t show the song? It’s weird that all of 40 files are not showing up and the fact that it shows up on your XBox may indicate that it’s a matter of having already loaded those songs, albeit with a different ID.
November 9, 2014 at 5:18 pm #432547Using a sandbox stick with no pre-existing cache, only the first project compiled appears in my song list. Tried twice, same result.
Suggesting the game sees all songs with the same ID.
November 9, 2014 at 5:21 pm #432548I really have no idea. All the testing done before suggests it works. If you want to keep sending me CONs to test, I don’t mind doing that. But if it works for me, I can’t fix it for you

I’ll try again to see what’s happening with the ID, but I’m pretty sure I saw it incrementing.
Edit: ConTools show all ID’s as unique.
November 9, 2014 at 5:25 pm #432550I really have no idea. All the testing done before suggests it works. If you want to keep sending me CONs to test, I don’t mind doing that. But if it works for me, I can’t fix it for youSo you have alredy tried deleting old CONs of the same songs, loading more than 1 new CON and seeing them all show up?
November 9, 2014 at 6:02 pm #432551I don’t have multiple CONs compiled with this new version. That’s something that an author actively using it will have to test. If you can figure out the issue, I can fix it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
November 9, 2014 at 6:16 pm #432552I reinstalled ver 2.2 and ran the project I had trouble with and now both 1x and 2x cons are being made so it’s definitely a bug in the new version ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />Found the problem with this and fixed. Will be in the next release. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
November 9, 2014 at 6:48 pm #432553I’ve spent the last two hours trying different things and the only way I can get a song to show up is by changing the song id so that it has a letter in it (33319000004z instead of 333190000046). There’s gotta be something to the relation of a song having a numeric id and the song having already been on the hard drive in some form.
Would it make any difference if I put the songs into a pack? I’ve been loading the songs individually thus far.
November 9, 2014 at 7:00 pm #432554Try it I guess. The song IDs will not change if you put it into a pack.
November 9, 2014 at 9:57 pm #432570November 9, 2014 at 11:44 pm #432577Try it I guess. The song IDs will not change if you put it into a pack.As expected, that did not work. I also tried building a new cache under TU5 and building a new cache under TU4 after removing my save game file. Neither of those worked either. Still cannot get a single one of these 41 songs to show up unless I change a number to a letter.
As a last resort I removed the hard drive and just tried to load the 41 songs from a thumb drive. I only managed to get one song to show up going that route. It’s so frustrating because I can see the 41 songs are accounted for when “Loading New Downloadable Content”, but they’re not showing up in song selection.
Is there anything else I can provide that will help troubleshoot this issue? I’ve provided the dta and con file for the one song that managed to load for me below.

November 9, 2014 at 11:49 pm #432578I can see the 41 songs are accounted for when “Loading New Downloadable Content”, but they’re not showing up in song selection. This is clearly a sign that the ID is duplicated. Send Nemo 2 of your songs to see if he can load both, if he can test that.
