Have to agree with the others that “Magic Man” is a great track. More Heart is always welcome, so thanks for that.

 

I will also say that the Vox seems to be off in various places throughout the song. Sometimes it’s a little flat/sharp; in others, the pitch goes up or down when Ann is actually singing down/up (if that makes sense). Not sure if that’s anything you would/could fix, but it definitely threw off my singer’s score.

Thank you for the comment. The up and downs I assume you are talking about is in the verses. I actually isolated the vocals and used a digital tuner on this; then went over and over it. When finally got it (close anyway), I play tested; then went over problem spots, and back and forth with the tuner. I know it’s close, but not perfect by any means. This is one I will keep looking into to improve. I’m sure I’ll release an update in the future when I get a chance. It is a very difficult song vocally. Thanks again.

We(Funk Meister and I) played Magic Man last night (guitar & bass) and had a freakin blast! Excellent chart and I loved the challenge on the three button chords on hard difficulty. We both Loved it!! You totally Rock, Mad!!!

 

I think we played songs from most of the current active charters last night and all charts where excellent and super fun!

Just added:

Formed by guitarist “Fast” Eddie Clarke, formerly of Motörhead, and bassist Pete Way, formerly of UFO. They took their name from a combination of the founding members’ names. Way and Clarke never got to release any recordings because Chrysalis Records would not let Way out of his contract. Session bassist Mick Feat was brought in to record the debut album, Fastway (Feat was not credited).

Here is the true party song off that album.

Oh WOW !! Freeway this is the ultimate Fastway song man……..

This band was so underrated back in the 80’s. I used to jam on their shit all day & night drove my 1st wife crazy.

I had a 3 band playlist back in the day. Fastway, Loverboy & Nightranger .

Freeway played Heart – Magic Man OMG those hit hat notes are brutal on drums.

Love your taste in music right up my alley. Perhaps someday you could tackle some of the 1st Montrose CD or more Red Rocker songs ?

First off, it’s Housequake(Prince song title) not Earthquake, let’s get that straight.

My shots of Tequila ARE double shots. When we go to out to have a drink, waiters always assume the double shots are his.(Can’t a woman love her Tequila?)

I’ll take that statement (Earthquake) as a “Brain Fart” on your end due to your understandable excitement for Freewaymad’s awesomeness.
