Now featuring commas.
July 14, 2015 at 4:52 am #450262Finally they show some cymbals for pro drums. Not sure if I like the new note skins but they sure look better than the ones in those E3 builds. How hard could it be for them to have multiple skins to choose from for the note highway? Do it Harmonix!By the way, taking “Your Love” down from my shared drive. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
don’t freaking tell me you had it uploaded on this site… if so i am going to cry.

Yes I did but it was only a drums custom. I do know somebody requested my project files many many months ago to attempt to add guitar and bass but I never heard back. If there was a full band version of this song I wasnt aware of it.
July 14, 2015 at 5:16 pm #450308Also, is there a law that prevents them from showing harmonies in previews?I have been wondering this myself. Have there actually been any reports of people singing harmonies at events, e3, etc.? I am curious to see how they look with the new vocal improv feature.
Vocal improv is solo hard/expert vocals, only.
July 14, 2015 at 5:58 pm #450310I’m glad you guys did Metropolis already.
I like pro keys.
July 14, 2015 at 6:25 pm #450311From the video, I’m finding it incredibly difficult to decipher between regular notes and HO/POs.
I hope they do some more adjusting with that. It’s similar to how difficult it was in RB1

Even for the melody if you’re singing harmonies? Or does the improv feature remain for the lead singer?

From what they have said, solo only.
July 14, 2015 at 11:24 pm #450327From what they have said, solo only.Bummer. That was the only new feature to the franchise that I was somewhat looking forward to trying. It is rare that I am singing a song without harmonies. Thanks alot, espher. You and your damn harmonies ruining everything!

Would be pretty tough for the game to gauge who is singing/trying to sing the lead melody and thus deviating from it to an acceptable pitch when the way harmonies work (assuming RB4 is as RB3) is that any mic can sing any part.
The only way it would work is if it locked a given mic to a given harmony part, and I’d shut that off ASAP because the people I play harmonies with ‘casually’ couldn’t stick to one fucking part if their lives depended on it.
July 14, 2015 at 11:55 pm #450329I wouldn’t be opposed to being able to lock a mic to a harmony part. I actually kind of like the idea.

Yeah, this is something I really want them to fix. It’s awful in RB3

Agreed. I hated that about playing harmonies. I do wish they locked you to one harmony if that’s what is needed to stop that from happening.
