How dare you and The Doctor summarily dismiss the wisdom of Nietzsche as confusingly presented by True Detective. Also who’s to say I don’t have ready access to some Interstellaresque tesseract. Your obvious anti-McConaugheyism is clouding your judgment on this issue.
I stand by my position that my request for Your Love, which I made last month, was the catalyst for the creation of that custom over four years ago. And I challenge anyone to refute the facts.

Also, updated OP. Now back to work.
July 13, 2015 at 7:00 pm #450190…and the singer is kind of an a**hole. The character, that is, not the actual singer… presumably.
.
Wait a minute…a rock singer singing a song about no-strings-attached casual sex?!?!?!
The horror. The horror!

That’s not the vibe I get. To me it sounds like he’s trying to convince her he “genuinely” loves her but then he still hopes she’ll keep quiet and also be gone in the morning. “Yeah, I love you, baby, really I do. By the way, there’s the door.”
I have the same issue with Robert John’s “Sad Eyes”, but there it’s even more explicit and also not as catchy, so that one’s easier to hate. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Well, at least the singer is upfront about the fact that “I just want to use your love tonight”.
But yes…he does tell her to get out in the morning and keep quiet about it. He also likes his girls a little bit older, so there’s a tinge of something illegal being hinted at.
I knew some people who wanted to play this song at their wedding, and I was like “have you ever actually listened to the lyrics”?
July 13, 2015 at 10:16 pm #450209Ludicrous. He’s a great guy. Obviously he wants to keep the relationship under wraps to spare the feelings of his girlfriend (Josie) who is out of town. He has her best interests at heart.
July 13, 2015 at 10:19 pm #450210I think moreso than the songs, I’m very happy to see the direction they’ve taken with the notes and the note highway. This looks much better already.

He has her best interests at heart.Yes, and Color Me Badd would like to take a lovely lady out to a nice meal at the finest French bistro in town, buy her tickets to her favorite romantic comedy movie, and then stroll through the park while making small talk about their hopes and dreams.

This looks much better already.I really don’t like the new notes honestly. Also, is there a law that prevents them from showing harmonies in previews?

This looks much better already.I have to agree with Farattone, I don’t like this. It’s a bit too bloomy, and it may be hard to differentiate between toms and cymbals on pro drums; it took me several watches to even realize there was finally pro drums.
July 13, 2015 at 11:58 pm #450234Finally they show some cymbals for pro drums. Not sure if I like the new note skins but they sure look better than the ones in those E3 builds. How hard could it be for them to have multiple skins to choose from for the note highway? Do it Harmonix!
By the way, taking “Your Love” down from my shared drive. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
July 14, 2015 at 12:22 am #450237Is it wrong that having customs turned what would have been a grand slam announcement into an rbi double for me? Three of the best of these songs I have already been playing full band in RB3 and they are now nothing to get excited about.
I do love seeing Van Morrison and Ozzy though.

I agree with this. They look cool, but they may have overdone it a tad with the result that regular notes look a lot like hopos. What was wrong with the way they looked in previous games?
July 14, 2015 at 12:35 am #450241Also, is there a law that prevents them from showing harmonies in previews?I have been wondering this myself. Have there actually been any reports of people singing harmonies at events, e3, etc.? I am curious to see how they look with the new vocal improv feature.
July 14, 2015 at 1:22 am #450244The note highway progression almost looked like it was…racheting down the screen or something, instead of smoothly progressing. At least, that was the case with the drums. I’m also not big on the note gems, but I’m keeping an open mind.
These new songs, on the other hand, strike me as great choices, on the whole.
Of course, ’til ion drums support is announced, it’s a moot point for me.
