Here’s a chiptune song a friend of mine irl made. I thought it’d be fun for Rock Band so I asked him for the stems to it. The guitar part is definitely the highlight of this custom. Keys plays a nice lead and drums have a few hard parts.

Thanks!
There are a few that caught my eye but no promises currently. Glad you like the song though.
May 13, 2019 at 8:45 am #505195“I The Mighty” is a band I recently discovered through a friend and I fell in love with their music right away. This song, “The Sound of Breathing”, is the 5th part of a 6 song love story “that follows the course of a relationship from the moment of conception, to falling in love, to finding a chink in the armor, to no longer fighting for it to survive, to the break up, and subsequently not handling the break up well.”
The part of the story this song is about “when you have the piece of mind to work at a relationship, even in the dark times, it has hope. However, when you realize that months have gone by and both parties are content with the charade, that light is given permission to burn out completely. When the arguing stops and all you’re left with is lingering silence and the sound of breathing”
Difficulty wise most of the instruments are fairly simple except for the Drums near the end and it also features a nice synth solo for Keys.

July 1, 2019 at 2:25 am #505819Does the link to your full list of songs no longer exist? I keep getting an error message when clicking on it. Is there an alt link I can have besides from the Customs Database? i don’t exactly want to download each song/multi-track individually lol.

September 4, 2019 at 10:18 pm #507008More Final Fantasy music, “Clash on the Big Bridge” by Nobuo Uematsu from FFV. Usually played when fighting against Gilgamesh, who has made numerous appearance in other FF games.
The custom features intense Keys and Drums and also has multitracks.

September 8, 2019 at 8:08 pm #507045New custom is a song by Sia called “Rainbow” which was featured in the My Little Pony Movie. The song, sung by her character Songbird Serenade in the film, is about comforting someone through their pain and preserving through the end despite their hardships.
Song as a whole is fairly easy but has fun harmonies which is great for parties.

January 2, 2020 at 6:09 am #508902Bringing in my first custom of this year, a song from A Hat in Time called Your Contract Has Expired, composed by Pascal Michael Stiefel. The song plays when you fight against The Snatcher, and overall it’s a pretty engaging song that’s difficult in all parts with a rockin’ synth solo.

January 28, 2020 at 6:40 pm #509418Hi there and thank you for your amazing work!
For some reason my comments on customs hung for rather long time on moderator’s approval so I decided to post here (in case custom comments are some special case for moderation).
So I played the Fall of an Empire on vocals and I had problems with hitting right notes on crystal ponies’ part (35:37 on your demo video). I can’t say for sure that’s problem isn’t my tone deaf but it looks for me like play field for vocals in game suddenly changes scale or reference point. Somewhat like notes that I hit before in some place now appears in different place. It really confuses me as this is the only place in the song where I had any problems despite custom has a big range of notes. Any ideas? Could you at least confirm that there are no any tricky hacks in this part of the song and it’s only my problem?
January 29, 2020 at 8:06 pm #509428Hey there, I did intentionally place vocal range shift events in between every song chapter so that way songs with the same few notes wouldn’t look small in the hud due to other songs having a wider range of notes.
In “The Calling” though I did place one mid song (around 36:19 in the video) due to the crystal ponies part having such a wide range compared to when Luna sings again. Admittedly that probably wasn’t a good idea and I should’ve waited for the song to end and transition before scaling the hud again.
January 30, 2020 at 7:30 pm #509450Oh, I see. Makes sense. Didn’t notice at all that there’s range shift between chapters. And wow do crystal ponies voices really that wide in range? Especially phrases like “Save us!” which look intimidating high. Thanks for explanation.
Also it’ll probably be good to add clarification to warning about game crashing. I read it but for some reason thought that crash should occur at the beginning of the custom. So when the song started OK in All Instruments Mode with all connected and joined I thought that problem avoided me and with friends played whole thing only to see Xbox crash message instead of the score screen ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />. I know that’s my fault but I think there may be others who come to similar conclusion after reading the warning message.
And another thing. Could you please reupload your “version” of Darude – Sandstorm? I know it’s kinda five years old but I’m feeling so itchy to prank someone with it.
March 12, 2020 at 12:31 am #510241Another song from the MMO Final Fantasy XIV, this is a band rendition of a song is that played during the Alexander raid boss. Song is pretty high energy on all instruments with a rockin’ bass solo and fast paced vocals. The two distinct guitar parts allowed me to chart one to Keys (Pro included). About halfway through the song there is a time stop mechanic in FFXIV that I was able to replicate the Rock Band characters to freeze in place by manipulating the BEAT track and I’m happy with how that turned out.
