April 8, 2014 at 9:07 pm #417314I’ve thought about doing You’ll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins, but there’s just so many to do. We need someone that loves this genre to step up and be THAT person for C3.
I’d love to see that Phil Collins song in Rock Band. Heck, I’d honestly love to see ANY Phil Collins song in Rock Band. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
We got “In the Air Tonight” at least but would be nice to have more Phil Collins, yes.
We got In the Air Tonight? where?

Well, we didn’t really get it. It’s not full band (no keys) and it’s the live version of the song. MrMet posted it on another forum a couple months ago (360iso forum) along with Mama by Genesis. That is also not full band.

I don’t have a keyboard after all and am not planning to get one.
Also, it kinda has to be the live version of the song… Since, you know, the album version fades away which is a “no-no”.

Normally, I would agree….but having no keys on a Genesis song (or some Phil Collins, like In The Air Tonight) would be like having no guitar on a Eric Clapton song. It’s just not right. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

I can agree partial with Genesis but with “In The Air Tonight” Eh… If it didn’t had drums then it would be flat-out just not right. Keys? Not really. Keys doesn’t seem to be a big instrument in the song. Drums are for sure… I mean seriously. I love it how Phil Collins would do that walk thing for this song and finally sit down at his drum set RIGHT when the song picks up. I love it!
